The two apply different laws, investigate different contents, and have different specific responsibilities.
1. Highway law enforcement Highway law enforcement refers to an administrative act that has direct legal effect on highway users and other relative persons in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of highways, land for highways, highway facilities maintenance and highway management institutions according to the provisions of national laws, regulations and rules. Road administration is an organic part of traffic administrative law enforcement, an important content of traffic administrative law enforcement, and an indispensable intermediate link in the process of road administration industry management. Any management activity can be managed in advance and remedied afterwards.
Second, traffic police are a kind of police. Its duties are to maintain traffic order, deal with traffic accidents, check and correct road traffic violations, and be responsible for motor vehicle registration management, referred to as "traffic police". The main duties of traffic police are: organizing and publicizing traffic laws and regulations, managing road traffic order according to law, managing vehicles, drivers and pedestrians, educating traffic offenders, investigating and handling traffic accidents, maintaining normal traffic order and ensuring smooth and safe traffic and transportation.
Transport Bureau:
1. The Transportation Bureau is the working body of the municipal government in charge of the management of the city's highways, waterways and local railway transportation industries. There are six functional departments, including office, personnel department, comprehensive department, finance department, planning and infrastructure department, policy and regulation department, and eight municipal transportation institutions.
2. Among them, there are three at the county level: Municipal Highway Administration, Municipal Shipping Administration and Municipal Local Railway Bureau, two at the sub-county level: Municipal Transportation Management Office and Municipal Traffic Inspection Detachment, and three at the department level: Municipal Traffic Preparedness Office, Traffic Information Center and Municipal Traffic Infrastructure Engineering Quality Supervision Station.
