History of Shanghai Ocean University

Shanghai Ocean University 19 12 was born. It is the oldest institution of higher learning in China and is known as "the cradle of modern aquatic education in China". The school has developed from a difficult school at the beginning of its business into a fishery institution of higher learning with obvious academic advantages, advanced instruments and equipment, strong teachers and numerous scientific research achievements. Today, Shanghai Ocean University has become a multi-disciplinary university focusing on aquatic products, ocean, food and other characteristic disciplines, with the coordinated development of agriculture, science, engineering, economics, literature and management, and has become an important base for national aquatic science and technology education. Facing the new era, the school has continuously deepened the teaching reform, broadened the field of scientific research cooperation, and won many national and provincial awards, which has produced obvious economic and social benefits.
