1. Open a browser and enter the router address 192. 168. 1 in the address bar. If there is any change, please enter the changed address and enter the account password to log in to the router.
2. The Web management interface of different routers may be slightly different, but the setting method is similar. Click Apply in this step (some routers are set at LAN ports);
3. After entering "Application Management", you can see the following interface, and select "IP and MAC binding";
4.IP binds the host to be mapped. If there is no static IP bound, the mapping will be invalid after DHCP redistributes the IP. Remember to click Save after setting.
5. Return to the application list, find the virtual server, click Enter, and click Add, as shown in the figure below;
6. Fill in the IP address of the internal port (application port, such as remote desktop default 3389), external port (external network access port) and the newly bound intranet, and click Save to complete the port mapping setting.
7. After completing the above settings, use the external network environment for testing. Pay attention to the external network environment here. If you are in the same local area network, that is, using an external network address, the firewall/router will also convert it into a local area network address.

If a computer in an intranet wants to access the Internet to open a service or receive data, it needs port mapping. ?
Port mapping is divided into dynamic and static. Dynamic port mapping: When a computer in the intranet wants to visit a website, it will send a packet to the NAT gateway, including the IP and port of the other website and the local IP and port in the header. The NAT gateway will replace the local IP and port with its own public IP and an unused port, and will record this mapping relationship so as to forward packets in the future.
Then send the data to the website, the website will respond after receiving the data, send the data to the unused port of NAT gateway, and then NAT gateway will forward the data to the computer in the intranet to realize the communication between the intranet and the public network. When the connection is closed, the NAT gateway will release the port assigned to this connection so that future connections can continue to be used. ?
Dynamic port mapping is actually the working mode of NAT gateway. ?
Static port mapping: it is to open a fixed port on NAT gateway, and then set which IP and port the data received by this port should be forwarded to. This mapping relationship will always exist whether there is a connection or not. You can let the public network take the initiative to access the computers in the intranet.
