Introduction:

The Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo is sponsored by the Propaganda Department of jiangsu provincial party committee and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jiangsu Province, aiming at promoting the integrated development of culture and tourism. The third Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo is scheduled to be held in Suzhou International Expo Center from September 23rd to 25th, and the Wumen Wang Ting Pavilion will make a wonderful appearance.

On August 20th, 2008, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Cultural Tourism, Wuxi City and Huai 'an City jointly announced that the second Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo will be held from September 3rd to 7th.

On May 3, 2008, the first Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo with the theme of "integration, innovation and enjoyment" opened in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. During the four-day Expo, there will be six categories, 20 sub-items and more than 50 activities.

1, night tour in Gusu

Time: the evening of September 22nd.

Take a boat from Midu Bridge to Panmen, the world cultural heritage of the Canal, and enjoy the live performance "Clouds and Waters in the South of the Yangtze River" with water and land linkage and light projection along the way, highlighting the unique canal culture of Suzhou in the Millennium.

After arriving at the ancient city of Panmen, you can experience the "Kaicheng Show" with Jiangnan cultural characteristics, vividly display intangible projects, and let people feel the beautiful life brought by the Grand Canal.

2. Opening ceremony:

Time: the evening of September 22nd.

Venue: Suzhou Culture and Art Center Grand Theatre.

I spent the night in Suzhou and held a brief opening ceremony before the theme performance of the symphony "Grand Canal".

3. Theme performance:

Time: the evening of September 22nd, September 24th.

Suzhou International Expo Center mainly arranges six theme exhibitions, including:

There are mainly seven activities: international friends' "Yunshui Jiangsu _ Canal Tour", 202 1 Canal-themed sports events, "The Beauty of the Canal Hometown" short video contest and creative sharing meeting, the 3rd China Suzhou Jiangnan Culture and Art International Tourism Festival, Canal Food Month, and Canal-themed series of art exhibitions.

Up to now, in addition to the confirmation of participation by some domestic state institutions and enterprises, more than 570 enterprises and institutions from 33 cities in 8 provinces along the Grand Canal have been invited to participate in the exhibition, as well as Lhasa, Tibet, Yili and Zhou Ke, which are supported by Shanghai and Soviet provinces.

In terms of theme exhibitions, 37 cities in China participated in the Canal City Cultural Tourism Boutique Exhibition, 53 non-legacy projects participated in the Canal Non-legacy Exhibition, 122 cultural tourism enterprises participated in the Canal Special Tourism Products Exhibition, 150 many units participated in the Canal Food Exhibition, and more than 300 cultural tourism enterprises participated in the Canal Cultural Industry Exhibition.
