Zhuge Liang outwitted Cao Aman in Hanzhong and retreated from Gu Jie.
Huang Xu didn't listen to Wang Ping and was defeated by Huang Zhong and Zhao Yun. Wang Ping surrendered to Liu Bei. Cao Cao was defeated by Liu Bei, who finally resisted, and returned to Nanzheng. Wei Yan and Zhang Fei got Nanzheng, and Cao Cao went to Yangpingguan. In view of Cao Cao's paranoia, Kong Ming took the plan of suspicious soldiers and defeated Cao Cao one after another. Cao Cao abandoned Yangpingguan and fled to the border of Gu Jie. He was in a dilemma and the morale of the three armed forces was completely lost. Yang Xiu, the chief bookkeeper, is an open-minded person who has repeatedly violated Cao Cao's taboos. He saw through Cao Cao's idea of withdrawing troops and was dismissed by Cao Cao as disturbing the morale of the people, so he beheaded him with the theory of chicken ribs. Liu Bei pursued the victory and Cao Cao had to withdraw the capital.
Cao Cao is in a dilemma in the chicken rib incident. It is perfect for him to eat chicken soup. Cao Cao saw chicken ribs in the bowl and decided to use "chicken ribs" as a slogan at night. Yang Xiu saw the slogan "chicken ribs" and taught the accompanying sergeant to pack up and prepare for his return trip. Because the chicken ribs are short of meat, it is a pity to abandon them. It is similar to the situation that people can't win when they enter, and they laugh when they retreat. He guessed that Cao Cao would retreat quickly, because this was not the way to station troops for a long time. He hasn't left now, but he will leave in order to save face. As a result, Yang Xiu was killed on charges of disturbing the morale of the army.
Hanzhong fought for Cao Cao's capture of Hanzhong and made Cao Hong and Xia guard it. Zhang Fei defeated Zhang Tai, captured Wakouguan, and Huang Zhong captured Tiandang Mountain. He listened and killed Xia in Dingjun Mountain. Cao Cao, who came from Xu Du, was in an unfavorable situation, got a written pledge to fulfill a military order, killed Yang Xiu on the pretext, and soon retreated. Liu Bei captured Hanzhong and brought it to the king of Hanzhong.
Yang Xiuzhi is dead. In the last stage of the war between Wei and Wei, Shu soldiers held their ground and refused to let Wei enter. Wei Jun coach Cao Cao was deeply in a dilemma. Wei Marching Master concluded that Cao Cao had the intention of withdrawing troops at this time. Without saying anything, he taught the accompanying sergeant to pack up and prepare for his return trip. He also explained to me the meaning of the word "chicken ribs". I listened to Yang Xiu's "prophet" and packed my luggage quickly. Suddenly, the morale was in chaos. On this basis, Cao Cao killed Yang Xiu on charges of "speaking out against military orders". It shows Yang Xiu's intelligence and wisdom, his ideological style of "relying on talents and letting himself drift", and also reveals Cao Cao's complex character of treachery and foresight.
Content appreciation Cao Cao has the heart of fighting and repairing. He has been waiting for the opportunity to find the most grandiose reason to get rid of Yang Xiu, so as not to be suspected. His insidious psychology has a gradual development process. In order to reveal this process and explain the real intention of Cao Cao's killing, the author of the novel recalls the fact that "relying on his talents to let go of the situation, he committed several taboos against Cao Cao" by means of narration. Generally speaking, it can be divided into two categories: one belongs to the scope of daily life, including rebuilding the garden gate, sharing Saibei shortbread, and so-called "killing dreams", which vividly reflects that Cao Cao often betrays traitors with cleverness and deliberately confuses people, but he is exposed by Yang Xiu every time; With such a witty person around, how can you not be "jealous" or "evil" or even take precautions from time to time? The other category belongs to the scope of political activities, including three things: Yang Xiu exposed Cao Pi's shady activities, taught Cao Zhi to cut the door and leave the government, and wrote Answer to Teaching for Cao Zhi. This shows that Yang Xiu has been deeply involved in the struggle of the imperial court. He tried his best to assist Cao Zhi as Cao Cao's successor and opposed Cao Pi's succession. Such a dangerous man, if he stays, will be a great disaster behind him, so "he has the heart to kill people at this time." This once again shows his foresight. Finally, Yang Xiu was killed and said that he would fight the Shu army the next day. Cao Cao's move is nothing more than to show that Yang Xiu's so-called "dispatching troops" is sheer nonsense, and he will only lose the battle, and he has "broken two front teeth". At this point, he "remembered Yang Xiu's words" and ordered to "bury" Yang Xiu, giving himself a step and taking the opportunity to withdraw. This ending is ironic.
Yang Xiu was killed for three reasons: First, because Yang Xiu could understand Cao Cao's mind, Cao Cao was jealous of his talent, and he always wanted to find a decent charge to kill him, considering that keeping him around would inevitably lead to disaster. Second, Yang Xiu showed his intelligence, ignored military discipline, automatically packed his bags when he smelled "chicken ribs" and incited others to return to the plan. Therefore, he was killed by himself. Thirdly, because Yang Xiu has been deeply involved in the dispute between Cao Pi and Cao Zhi for the throne, with Cao Pi in power, he will surely become a victim of this struggle. Cao Cao will kill him for the safety of his successor behind him.
