When a nation's dominant position is overthrown, it will inevitably produce nostalgia, so many Manchu people in the Central Plains changed their surnames to Jin and Ai. One can be like the Han people, and the other can miss the glory of their ancestors. Manchu is not a nation formed by blood or culture. It is the Eight Banners system that maintains Manchu as a nation, independent from other nationalities.
Aisingiorro changed her surname to Aisingiorro (Zhao, Jin, Luo, De, Hong, Yi, Hai, Ai, Tie, Pu and Qi), which is undoubtedly the most striking surname. Aisingiorro is not a surname, but Ai Xin is, and Jue Luo means royal family. Ai Xin is translated into Chinese, which means gold. However, because Yuan Shikai ascended the throne and issued a will to exchange love for gold, people who love their new home generally don't want to be called gold. "Ai Xin" is a jurchen language. As a surname, it has existed since the Jin Dynasty, literally meaning "Jin", but there was no "Jue Luo" at that time. "Jueluo" is a transliteration based on Manchu gioro. It originally meant to be alone.
Of course, many Manchu surnames changed later. The following is a simple list. In fact, many surnames can't see the original appearance.
