Lantern Festival Time in Xiqing District, Tianjin
The theme of the 20 18 Lantern Festival is "Entering a new era and realizing Yangliuqing's dream". Dozens of large lanterns will be displayed in the five exhibition areas of the Lantern Festival, highlighting Xiqing's historical and cultural heritage and embodying the characteristic folk culture. At the same time, publicize and implement the spirit of the 19th Party Congress, carry forward and practice the socialist core values, and show the achievements of Xiqing's economic and social development to the creative design of lanterns.

It is a dual-theme lamp design, which complements each other. On the basis of listening to public opinion, in order to respond to the general demands of the public, we should see more colorful lanterns, base ourselves on tradition, open up new ideas and adopt the design of double-theme lanterns. One of the theme lights, "Entering a New Era", is magnificent with the theme of the Chinese dream, highlighting the achievements of the vigorous development of Xiqing District and fully demonstrating the lofty ideal of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The second theme, "Yangliuqing", is based on warm colors and festive atmosphere. Through Yangliuqing's three treasures: Opera House, Pailou Pavilion and Wenchang Pavilion, the features of the ancient town on a full moon night are displayed. Two groups of theme lights are placed on the north and south sides of the square, which echo each other from afar. Two flowers bloom in the Lantern Festival, which complement each other and form a beautiful landscape.
The second is to fully embody and inherit excellent traditional culture. In the creative design of lanterns, Xiqing's unique New Year painting culture, Jason Wu culture, canal culture, folk culture and other elements are fully integrated with lanterns, auspicious characters, hanging money, zodiac and other cultural elements of the year. On the basis of accurately excavating the characteristics of regional culture, we will constantly endow it with new connotation of the times and modern forms of expression, and enhance people's sense of cultural participation, acquisition and identity.
Third, fully embody the theme propaganda and mainstream values, base on carrying forward the socialist core values, insist on closely combining the lantern modeling with the propaganda of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and combine it with the propaganda of the achievements of economic and social development in our region, so as to fully display the high-spirited, pioneering and innovative spirit and happy life of the broad masses of people in our region.
Fourth, it is the organic combination of tradition and modernity. Lantern production adopts the combination of traditional weaving and modern light show, inherits the tradition and actively innovates, bringing different experiences and enjoyment to tourists, fully satisfying people's new expectations for a better life and further enhancing the sense of cultural acquisition.
