Jiangsu Province, referred to as "Su" for short, is the provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), with Nanjing as its capital. 1983, Jiangsu province implemented the system of city governing counties, and established Nanjing, Wuxi, Xuzhou, Changzhou, Suzhou, Nantong, Lianyungang, Huaiyin, Yancheng, Yangzhou and Zhenjiang 1 1 prefecture-level cities.
