1987 June 12-26, the United Nations held a ministerial conference on drug abuse and illegal trafficking in Vienna, which was attended by more than 3,000 representatives from 138 countries. The conference put forward the slogan of "love life, don't take drugs", and the participants unanimously agreed to designate June 26th as "International Anti-drug Day" to arouse the world's attention to the drug problem.
