Changqing Oilfield Company (PCOC) of China Oil and Gas Co., Ltd. is referred to as China Oil Changqing Oilfield, Changqing Oilfield Company and Changqing Oilfield for short. Established in April 1970 and headquartered in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province, it is the largest oil and gas field in China. The exploration area is mainly in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Basin, with a total exploration area of about 370,000 square kilometers.
Development history
Exploration began in the early days of the People's Republic of China 1950, and in 1970, the Lanzhou Military Region formally established the Changqing Oilfield Combat Command according to the documents No.70 and No.8/KLOC-0 of the State Council and the Central Military Commission. The headquarters was originally located in cheung tsing bridge Village, Ning County, Qingyang District, Gansu Province (now Qingyang City) (now Changqing Bridge Town).

1983 was approved by the Ministry of Petroleum Industry (now China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group) and renamed Changqing Petroleum Exploration Bureau.
1August, 998, the company's exploration bureau and its affiliated scientific research units moved to the north suburb of Xi, Shaanxi Province-east of Zhangjiabao Sub-district Office in weiyang district, east of the intersection of Weiyang Road and Fengcheng No.4 Road, and named Xinglong Garden Community.
