As a controllable channel between the public area of the platform and the rail train, the screen door system should have the following functions:
(1) When the train enters the station, the sliding door will open or close to provide passengers with access to the train.
(2) The public space on the platform side is separated from the space on the track side to avoid the potential safety hazard of people falling off the track and the psychological panic of drivers when driving into the station.
(3) Isolate the noise and piston wind generated when the train is running, ensure the passengers in the station have a good waiting environment, avoid the loss of air conditioning cooling capacity in the station caused by piston wind, and save operating costs; At the same time, it can also reduce the capacity and quantity of equipment, reduce the investment and construction cost of civil engineering, and produce good economic benefits.
(4) Obstacle detection. If an obstacle is detected when the sliding door is closed, it will stop briefly to release the caught obstacle and then close to avoid injuring passengers.
(5) There is a communication interface between the screen door system and the electromechanical equipment monitoring system or the main control system, which is used to transmit the running status and fault diagnosis information of the screen door system, so as to facilitate the station control room personnel and maintenance personnel to monitor the status of the screen door.
(6) The platform monitoring booth is equipped with a screen door monitor. Through the screen door monitor, station staff and screen door maintenance personnel can monitor the running status of the screen door system, view or download the running history of the screen door system, and modify or upload the control program and parameters of the screen door system.
