Development Status and Future of Hydrogen Energy in China
China is the largest producer of hydrogen in the world, with rich hydrogen sources, which can guarantee the development of fuel cell vehicles. At the same time, as China is in a critical period of energy transformation, it has also made a solemn commitment to carbon reduction: it will make carbon dioxide emissions peak around 2030 and strive to achieve it as soon as possible. In 2030, carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP will decrease by 60%-65% compared with 2005, and non-fossil energy will account for about 20% of primary energy consumption; Take more effective policy measures, and strive to reach the peak of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
Therefore, at present, China has issued a series of policies on the development of hydrogen energy, and local governments have also issued development plans. At present, the total number of fuel cell vehicles in China exceeds 7,000, and the epidemic situation and policy changes have a great impact on production and sales this year.
