If you use a parallel port or a serial port, the new hardware will not be displayed.

After installing the driver, try to find the driver in the printer and fax, and then right-click-Properties-Port to try to change other ports.

Connect directly to another computer with USB. If you can find new hardware, it means that the printer is good (the probability of printer port failure is very small), then reinstall the operating system of your newly bought computer, and then install drivers and software according to the old method.
