At 2 1 on July 20th, Tokyo time, the 65438th plenary session of the International Olympic Committee was held in Tokyo, Japan. The meeting announced that the host city of the 35th Summer Olympic Games in 2032 was Brisbane, Australia, so it was also called Brisbane Olympic Games in 2032.

Brisbane has also become the third Australian city to host the Summer Olympics after 1956 Melbourne and Sydney in 2000.
