The reasons for the demise of the Qing Dynasty are quite profound. There are both internal reasons and external oppressive environment. So its demise is quite complicated. For internal reasons, there are two points. First, ethnic contradictions. Before entering the customs, there were ethnic conflicts in Qing dynasty, mainly Manchu-Chinese cultural conflicts. In order to rule the Han nationality and other ethnic groups smoothly, the Manchu adopted extremely outrageous and barbaric means, including killing cities, adultery and looting. Let Han people hate Manchu. Sun Yat-sen's slogan of "expelling Tatars and restoring China" is the signboard of ethnic contradictions. At the end of the Qing dynasty, ethnic contradictions were never effectively resolved, which became an important factor in the demise of the Qing dynasty. Second, the ruling class is corrupt and the system is decadent. The corruption of the ruling class began in Qianlong. In the late Qianlong period, as an emperor, he was no longer as diligent as when he was young. It is extravagance and waste, spending money like water. Even more treacherous court officials and corrupt officials dominated the state affairs, which made the court malodorous and the chickens flew and the dogs jumped. In Jiaqing era, Emperor Jiaqing could not effectively control the words and deeds of local officials. Under the condition that the existing system cannot be broken, the emperor has no influence on the local government. Officials flatter the upper class, desperately exploit the lower class, and the people complain. Since the end of Jiaqing, farmers have revolted, and Tianjin even entered the palace. From this time on, the decline of the Qing Dynasty was doomed. The old supervision system for officials didn't play any role, and the emperor sometimes had to make concessions to ministers, which made the emperor physically and mentally exhausted and cursed the people. The emperor felt wronged, the minister felt wronged and the people felt miserable. The ruling and opposition parties are bleak, and such a dynasty will perish sooner or later. As far as external reasons are concerned, the industrial revolution in the west has been completed, but the Qing dynasty still stayed in the past era of small-scale peasant economy, engaged in growing grain and transporting grain. The advanced technology and system in the west have seriously impacted the so-called deep-rooted rule in the Qing Dynasty, and the Opium War is a good example. Under the impact of external forces, the Qing dynasty was unable to protect the integrity of its subjects and territory. The people were dissatisfied with the Qing dynasty, and such an external impact added fuel to the fire. The rulers of the Qing dynasty were not supported by their subjects at home, but were bullied and humiliated abroad. How can such a dynasty not perish?
