A lot of work has been done in protecting high-quality ecological environment, high-grade planning, building high-quality scenic facilities and scientific and rational development and utilization, and remarkable achievements have been made in protection, scientific research, tourism and infrastructure construction. Thanks to the joint efforts of Jiuzhaigou people, Jiuzhaigou has successively won many honors such as "National Excellent Nature Reserve", "Forty Best Tourist Attractions in China", "National Demonstration Unit for Protecting the Rights and Interests of Tourism Consumers", "AAAAA-level Scenic Spot in China" and "Provincial Civilized Unit". In 2000, Jiuzhaigou was identified as the top tourist boutique in the province by the provincial party committee and the provincial government, and became the "Best Tourism Boutique Line of World Heritage" among the six scenic spots in Sichuan.
