In all fairness, the last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty was an era of utter corruption. Huan ling sells officials and titles in public. Investigate its reason, Ada's policy has played a decisive role. The local officials sent by the central government hold considerable power, so it is certainly more flexible and powerful to deal with the yellow turban insurrectionary. What about the central government in turn? The so-called imperial court is just a group of disabled women and children (hehe, it is polite to call eunuchs like this). Too often Ada (Yizhou Pastoral) is the servant of Huang Wan (Yuzhou Pastoral), and Zong Zheng Liu Yu (Youzhou Pastoral) doesn't take them seriously, what's more, now the mountain is high and the emperor is far away? When Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu and others saw it, they immediately set fire to the palace gate and attacked General He's "legacy". Seeing that the situation was not good, eunuchs hijacked Shaodi and Wang Liuxie (Han Xiandi, then only 9 years old) and fled. He first set up a camp in Luoyang city, secretly transferred his troops out of Luoyang at night and publicly transferred them to Luoyang during the day. In this way, this trick was repeated for four or five days without being exposed. Everyone saw Dong Zhuo's continuous reinforcements. Who else in Luoyang dares to resist Dong Zhuo's fighters? Dong Zhuo also knows that everyone hates eunuchs killing Zhong Liang. Although he ran amok and pretended to be a good corporal, he promoted some celebrities vigorously, but none of his closest relatives held important positions. However, of course, celebrities don't listen to the "fallacies and heresies". Yuan Shao had already turned against him, and he also let bygones be bygones. He worshipped Yuan Shao as the satrap of Bohai Sea (Yuan Shao claimed to be also a captain), named Yuan Shu as the post-general, and named Cao Cao as a captain. However, who wants to be with a person who is "abused and punished" for such a small favor? Yuan Shu and Cao Cao escaped one after another, and Cao Cao also left an anecdote of "catching and releasing Cao Cao" (only it was not done by Chen Gong).

The princes in the world have long been dissatisfied with Dong Zhuo. "There are many people who want to compete for Excellence." At this time, Qiao Huan, the magistrate of Dong Jun County, forged letters from three court officials (still in Luoyang) to local governors, detailing Dong Zhuo's crimes and saying that "seeing persecution, there is no way to save yourself, and I hope to help the country." Now, everyone has a reason to form an alliance against Dong Zhuo.

In the first month of spring in the first year of Chuping (A.D. 190), the Kanto governors formed an alliance against Dong Zhuo, and elected the four generations of Sangong and the famous minister Yuan Shao as the leader. Dong Zhuo is no stranger to Sun Jian. When Dong Zhuo was still in Xiliang, he was ordered to conquer Qiang people with Zhang Wen, the then riding general. Sun Jian was Zhang Wen's subordinate at that time. During the siege of Yuzhong, Sun Jian suggested that Shen Zhou give him 10,000 people, and cut off the route of the Qiang people to provide food first, so as to achieve "several poisons and continuous food". Shen Zhou didn't listen, but insisted on surrounding Yu Zhong Cheng Jian. As a result, his route for providing foodstuff was cut off by the Qiang people. In desperation, he abandoned his helmet and armor and "abandoned his car." Dong Zhuo spoke highly of Sun Jian's plan, thinking that if it can be adopted and implemented, Liangzhou can be settled. After the warlord rebelled against Dong Zhuo, Sun Jian was unwilling to lag behind. Unlike Yuan Shao and others who did nothing, he always took the initiative to seek war. Although Xu Rong defeated him when he got off to a bad start (it seems that this Xu Rong is really a character), he also seized the opportunity of Lu Bu's internal discord in Hu Zhen, broke it, and "called Hua Xiong as commander in chief" (the Romance of the Three Kingdoms was turned upside down by mistake, but Sun Jian became Hua Xiong's underdog). When Dong Zhuo learned about Sun Jian's prowess, he sent Li to travel and said that Sun Jian wanted him to get married and become an official. Why did such a brave Sun Jian retreat halfway? In The Romance of Three Kingdoms, it is written that Sun Jian got the imperial seal of the Han Dynasty in Luoyang City, so he retired after playing a selfish role, and thus made enemies with Yuan Shao and Liu Biao. In fact, this statement is not a recognized conclusion. Although Chen Shou recorded this in the History of the Three Kingdoms, Pei Songzhi expressed his well-founded doubts in his notes. When Chen Shou compiled the History of the Three Kingdoms, he referred to the records of historians from various countries, and a piece of imperial seal was copied from the records of Wu people. Pei Songzhi thought it was probably invented by Wu people to show their orthodoxy. The reason for Sun Jian's retirement is that the decree is not credible, or at least it is too one-sided. But one thing, though not mentioned in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, is that Sun Jian, like Cao Cao, was disheartened after seeing the intrigue of his ministers.

It turned out that while Sun Jian was fighting ahead, the alliance in the rear was in chaos. In July of the second year of Chuping, Yuan Shao listened to the policy of the counselor's discipline and seized Jizhou from Hanfu without bloodshed. A series of operations before and after, except for the part that killed Gongsun Yue, are generally consistent with those described in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Tactically brilliant, but strategically? Dong Zhuo foolishly hijacked the little emperor, and now you, the leader of the alliance, have taken the lead in laying a black hand on your allies. Yuan Shu saw that all heroes in the world envied Yuan Jia's reputation, but most of them were jealous after taking refuge in Yuan Shao. He encouraged Gongsun Zan to attack Yuan Shao and sent Sun Jian to attack Liu Biao, who was closely related to Yuan Shao. Huang Zu, the general of Liu Biao, is no match for Sun Jian? However, Sun Jian was extremely happy after his victory, but he was accidentally shot and killed in the pursuit. Just when this alliance against Dong Zhuo was in chaos and existed in name only, good news came from Chang 'an, and Dong Zhuo died!

After Dong Zhuo left Luoyang, he did not go to Chang 'an immediately, but resisted Sun Jian's attack. It was not until April of the second year of Chuping that he went to Chang 'an. During Dong Zhuo's absence (about one year), Chang 'an was presided over by Stuart Wang Yun. Wang Yun, a totally honest man, has a decent manner. Although he secretly considered the Eastern Han court, he was quite respectful to Mr. Dong on the surface, so he won trust. After Dong Zhuo arrived in Chang 'an, he completely copied his perverse behavior in Luoyang to Chang 'an and engaged in nepotism. When he was in Luoyang, he treated Corporal Xian with courtesy, and none of his relatives held important positions. Perhaps it was the rebellion of the princes that made him feel that others could not trust him, so he put his brother and nephew in a key position. His car was dressed like a son of heaven, so he called all the officials and ministers to his house to "go to court" if he didn't go to court. He also built a pier, 70 feet high and 70 feet thick, which stored enough food for 30 years. He said, "If you can't rule the world, hide in it for the elderly." Hey, hey, you're going to be a shrinking violet for 30 years, so what are you talking about?

Dong Zhuo also knew that he was unpopular and was assassinated for this reason, so he took Lu Bu, a father and son of Gongma, as his bodyguard. But Dong Zhuo is extreme. He flew into a rage because of Lu Bu's little mistake and pulled out his halberd and threw it at him. After Lu Bu deftly avoided it, both of them felt too much and apologized to each other. But this incident inevitably left a shadow in Lu Bu's heart. Lu Bu was having an affair with Dong Zhuo's maid again, always worried about being found out. When I saw Wang Yun acting like an elder, I told him about my worries and the fact that I was almost killed by Dong Zhuo. Dong Zhuo's cloud has been secretly calculating how to miss this opportunity, and lost no time in telling his whole plan, and tried to persuade Lu Bu to join the team as an insider, saying, "Your surname is Lu, not your own flesh and blood. In this way, Dong Zhuo's two most trusted people started a plot to assassinate Dong Zhuo together.
