School history
The School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation of Huazhong University of Science and Technology originated from the automatic control undergraduate major established by Huazhong Institute of Technology 1956. 196 1 began to recruit graduate students, 1998 was awarded the first doctorate in control science and engineering, and in 2007 it became the first national key discipline of control science and engineering, artificial intelligence and engineering 20 19.
