He is a great hero in unifying the Three Kingdoms and destroying the Western Wu. You will definitely say "yang hu, the sheep that can only cry", or Wang Zhuo, "The relatives and the country languish in Nanjing".
He is proficient in astronomy, geography, calendar, economy and agriculture. You may guess that Zhang Heng is very developed in all aspects.
But if the above three items are combined into one, what will it be the ultimate "beast"?
Alas, not to mention, there are people in history who really meet these three harsh conditions at the same time. He is Du Yu, a low-key Du Yu.
Speaking of this name, you may be unfamiliar, but one of his descendants is almost known to all China people-Du Fu. This Du Yu is the ancestor of Du Fu.
First, military and civilian use.
Let's start with his civil and military skills.
The Water Margin says that Du Yu is definitely the official's son, and his father and his father are both senior officials of Cao Wei: his grandfather Du Ji was the prefect of Hedong and later became an official; Father Du Shu is also the prefect of Hedong. In addition, Du Yu's father-in-law is Sima Yi, the founder of the Western Jin Empire.
So Du Yu was born and raised with a golden key. It's just that this family background didn't catalyze Du Yu to become a dude. On the contrary, it was the family background that helped Du Yu get an early education and become a talent. History says that he "read widely since childhood and was diligent in writing".
His works include: Example Interpretation, League Map, Long Calendar in the Spring and Autumn Period, Fu for Women, etc. One of the most famous is Zuozhuan in the Spring and Autumn Period. Du Yu likes studying Zuo Zhuan very much, calling himself a fan of Zuo Zhuan. However, he believes that Zuo Zhuan and Chunqiu are not in tune, and they are not completely consistent in narrative methods and recording years. Du Yu brought a collection of biographies of Zuo Zhuan Chun Qiu, which was sorted out for future generations to compare and refer to each other. For a long time, this book was regarded as a Confucian textbook.
During the period of Emperor Taizong, Du Yu was ordered to enjoy the Confucius Temple and accept the worship of later generations together with Confucius, which was definitely the highest courtesy of ancient literati.
Let's talk about his sandwich first, and then look at his martial arts.
His martial arts skills are high, and he is also a "crying sheep male" admired by Sima Yan. At one time, Sima Yan thought that Yang would win Wu Dong for him and unify the whole country. However, in 278 AD, Yang Hucheng died of illness at the age of 57. Before his death, Du Yu was the recommended successor.
This recommendation was a bit scary at that time, because Du Yu had made no achievements in martial arts. Although he can write books, settle accounts, practice law and control water, he seldom fights, and can't even ride horses or shoot arrows.
However, yang hu's attitude is firm: Du Yu, though "physically exhausted", is the best candidate to unify the world by "making good use of troops and good strategies".
Although he hesitated, he finally chose to trust Uncle Yang, and handed over the important task of commanding the former enemy of Dongwu to Du Yu.
As soon as Du Yu took office, he made a surprise attack on Xiling, luring Sun Hao to recall famous soldiers with tricks, which created an excellent opportunity to destroy Wu in the future.
Since then, Lao Du has written three times to destroy Wu's general plan, which led to the later "landing in Yizhou, and the imperial ghost has languished in Nanjing City!"
During the War of Destroying Wu, Lao Du served as commander-in-chief of the Western Front, went down to Jiangling, took Jingzhou, surrounded Jianye, and then went south to capture Jiaozhou and Guangzhou.
It is precisely because of his good command and good use of troops that he became the "most beautiful young man" and of course the most annoying person in people's eyes in the battle to destroy Wu.
In fact, he is the long history of Zhong Hui, the general who destroyed Shu, and also participated in the war to destroy Shu. So later someone called him "the terminator of the Three Kingdoms".
With this feat of leveling the world, he naturally became a legendary star that later generations talked about. In the Tang Dynasty, he was enshrined in the Wu Temple by Tang Dezong.
Before the Ming Dynasty, Du Yu was the only one who enjoyed both the Confucian Temple and the Wu Temple.
Second, the agricultural economy
Let's talk about Comrade Lao Du's achievements in agricultural economy.
As the old saying goes, "Food is the most important thing for the people", and the problem of eating is the root of food for the people. This is especially true in the agricultural era of lack of food and clothing.
As we all know, Cao Cao, the founder of Cao Wei Empire, vigorously promoted the "farming system" in order to solve the problem of eating, and was later widely imitated.
This reclamation system is certainly a good thing in wartime when there is a serious shortage of materials and labor, but its disadvantages are also revealed after the situation is stable. For example, if soldiers have to work when there are sufficient supplies of personnel and materials, there is a problem. Therefore, Lao Du put forward the slogan of "reducing the burden on soldiers", specifically, using domestic slaves and official handmaiden to "replace the rice in the field", which became the land system.
In addition, Lao Du is also a good hand in water conservancy. There are many large granaries around Luoyang Palace-Changcang, but in the era of relying entirely on cattle and horses, this transportation cost is too high. Lao Du proposed to connect Luoshui with the Yellow River. Although the distance is not far, it is also a big project to cut down the mountains in southern Shaanxi. But here in Lao Du, there is nothing difficult. In two years, this "century project" was completed.
After doing such a big thing, most people will be satisfied, but Lao Du is not ordinary-I want to build the Yellow River Bridge!
In those days, the Yellow River was much bigger than it is now. In those days, it was basically impossible to cross the bridge by boat. Du Yu's grandfather Ducky died in a flood.
Fupingjin, in particular, is a ferry, but the water is fast and it often capsizes. Lao Du chose this place with his fingers.
Someone asked: This ferry is five miles long. What about the bridge?
Lao Du: The iron rope is connected to the boat, and the boat is a beam! With boats as beams, boats are connected and bridges can be built! )
Thus, the first Yellow River pontoon bridge in China history-Fuping Golden Yellow River pontoon bridge was built in his hands! From then on, Luoyang, the imperial capital, communicated with the outside world and had a bridge! It was this pontoon bridge that was later restored and used until the Song Dynasty. It lasted for more than 800 years and can be called steel engineering.
In addition, Lao Du also made great efforts to improve the calendar and modify the laws at that time. No way, who told Lao Du that he had goods in his head! So Lao Du got a nickname called "Du Wuku" at that time, which meant that Lao Du had everything in his mind.
Third, small mechanical experts.
Cross-border to this point, the average person should stop? But Lao Du said: I am actually a science and engineering man!
Around the Warring States period, our ancestors invented a smelting artifact-bellows.
To say this baby is absolutely easy to use, it greatly increases the temperature of the charcoal stove and makes ironmaking and steelmaking a reality.
However, the original bellows were relatively large and needed horsepower to drive, but the efficiency of the horse raft was obviously not high. According to historical records, 100 horse can smelt 120 Jin of iron. Later, Hanji improved this baby, which is water-driven. At the same time, it can smelt 360 Jin of iron. The efficiency has doubled.
Du Yu, on the other hand, combined manpower and water power to create a more efficient "new device for people", which can be called standing on the shoulders of Han Ji and creating greater glories.
In addition to bellows, there is a magical device called "Proverbs of the Son of Heaven" in ancient China, which is a timer similar to an hourglass, except that it is filled with water instead of sand, which automatically drips and pours water, and the empty bottle stands at attention periodically. Historical records record that "water is less, it is right, it is full", which is very philosophical about life and governing the country. So this thing is often placed next to the throne by the son of heaven as a warning.
This thing originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, but the production process was lost in the Han Dynasty. By the time of the Western Jin Dynasty, Xun Qi had been lost for many years, and relevant records could only be found in historical books.
After repeated design and scrutiny, Du Wuku copied and reproduced this treasure with the records in the book.

"If you want to ask which one is strong across the border, you must also count the Beijing-Zhaodu arsenal." At that time, whether it was astronomy, geography, agriculture, economy or military and political affairs, if there was any problem, it was basically right to ask Lao Du. All-round development, Du Yu in this era is definitely 1.
Du Yu is good at everything, but he understands the truth that "the rafters in the early days rot first", so he keeps a low profile. But his cross-border performance in various fields, some people even say that he crossed the past from modern times.
Once low-key, but can not suppress the pursuit of future generations. Really, strength is not allowed!
