Baixiang Village is located in the southeast corner of Gao 'an Street in Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge Economic Development Zone, with Hengshan River in the east and adjacent to Hengshan and Maba in Fanyang Town. The planned Second Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhu passes through the territory, and there is a scenic White Elephant Mountain in its jurisdiction, hence the name White Elephant Village. Baixiang Village covers an area of 7.28 square kilometers, with beautiful environment and outstanding people. There are 72 villagers' groups in the village with a total population of 5,443, including more than 4,900 mu of cultivated land, more than 500 mu of forest and more than 800 mu of water surface. There are 3 branches under the General Party Branch of the village, with 82 people in party member. Baixiang Village is a big agricultural village, which mainly produces rice, wheat and rape. After the land management in 2005, a pattern of square fields, rows of trees and roads and canals has been formed. At present, there are 2 large grain growers, with more than 800 mu of circulating land, 2 large seedling growers, 240 mu of circulating land, 2 special aquaculture, more than 70 mu of intensive fish ponds and 65,438+crayfish breeding bases.

Under the background of Wuhu's integration into the Yangtze River Delta economic circle, Wanjiang area has become the center of Anhui's industrial transfer, and Gao 'an Street is the frontier of development. Under the correct leadership and strong support of the Party committees and governments at higher levels, a group of people from the two village committees earnestly studied the organization, improved their work style and methods, actively focused on land acquisition and demolition, solved the practical problems of the masses, adhered to open government affairs and democratic decision-making, and carried out various tasks with the goal of building a harmonious new countryside and the slogan of striving for Excellence.

At present, the first phase project of Baixiang Oasis has started construction, with a total investment of 1 1 billion. After the completion of the planning, there are more than 5,200 low-rent housing and resettlement houses. In the future, the white elephant will become the economic and political center of the region, and a new white elephant full of modern flavor will appear in front of us.

In recent years, our village has won the first prize of land acquisition and demolition, the second prize of population and family planning, the advanced party branch and the first prize of striving for Excellence.

Baixiang Village is adjacent to Yihe Village, Gaoan Village, Yumin Village, Jishan Village, Nibu Community and Caoshan Village.

Near Baixiang Village, there are scenic spots such as Wuhu Riverside Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Zhongjiang Tower, Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Wuhu Olympic Park and Sansheng Ancient Temple in baimashan. There are Wuhu shrimp noodles, Wuhu sauced duck gizzards, Wuhu sesame coriander, Wuhu shredded pork, Pujialiang powder and other special foods.
