Windows HPC Server 2008 is the successor product of existing Windows Computer Cluster Server 2003 (WCCS 2003), which is based on the core of Windows Server 2008 64-bit system. It can provide a new high-speed network, an efficient and flexible cluster management tool, a service-oriented architecture (SOA) project schedule, and a cluster file system supporting partners. It can be used for large-scale parallel projects such as computational fluid dynamics and simulated water control projects, and also for complex parallel projects such as BLAST and Monte Carlo simulation.
