First of all, from the government's point of view, first, "personal rights" are divided into personality rights and identity rights, including blood, marriage, inheritance and so on. Allowing gay people to get married means that the government recognizes and gives gay people the most basic rights as citizens, which is a manifestation of human rights. Second, the adoption of the gay marriage law is conducive to alleviating some social problems, such as the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS; Gay and heterosexual marriage and so on.
Secondly, for gay groups, it is a great welfare to be recognized and protected by law.
Thirdly, for heterosexuals, at least psychologically, it can reduce the worries of "being harassed by homosexuals" and "reducing the risk of AIDS infection".
These are just some benefits of same-sex marriage. Strictly speaking, it should be "superficial interests", but in fact these "interests" can be completely illusory. There are many reasons. The government allowed gay marriage to be legalized, and the adoption of the gay marriage law was largely a show. In fact, why should same-sex marriage be allowed? Just remove the word "one man and one woman" from the definition of "marriage" in the existing marriage law. From this point of view, the government (including those countries that have passed gay marriage laws) essentially divides gay groups into independent groups outside the public. You should know that if the public is divided into two unequal groups, the rights and obligations will inevitably be unequal (if they are equal, they will not be divided), which will only be harmful. With the adoption of the Marriage Law, related inheritance laws (divorce of same-sex couples or death of one of them lead to inheritance and division of property) and so on.
Furthermore, look for reasons from the gay community itself. Same-sex marriage cannot solve the problems of gay groups themselves from the root. In fact, I can say that compared with foreign gay groups and heterosexual groups, the development speed of China heterosexual groups' support and openness to homosexuality is comparable to that of foreign countries in the past 30 years, that is, the public's understanding of gay groups is very fast. Sadly, however, the gay community's own "development" speed is very slow, even in the "primitive" stage. There are too many such examples, the most important of which is the acceptance and recognition of gay groups. Although I know that I am gay, I have done a lot of bad things because I can't accept my sexual orientation, such as choosing to marry the opposite sex because I can't stand the pressure of society and family (it is very immoral to cruelly hurt innocent opposite sex by cheating and hiding the truth), and there is also the so-called division of "1 and 0" and the division of "T and P". Take 1 (inserter in gay sex) and 0 (inserter in gay sex) as examples. Gay groups in China and Asia even expanded it to be the "husband" of 1 and the "wife" of 0. In life, one person is dominant and the other person is dependent. Ironically, this unequal heterosexual lifestyle gradually declined and was eliminated, but it was imitated by gay groups, which is inextricably linked with Asian culture. But the most important thing is that the gay community in China has not really accepted themselves. They think they are not "real men". It seems that if you don't do it, you're not completely gay. Therefore, the adoption of the gay marriage law can be said to be of no help to solve these problems. Most importantly, the gay community itself must "live up to expectations." Marriage itself is formal. If there is no good emotional foundation, even if you get married, you will still get divorced, so marriage is not the guarantee of love. Even if the marriage law is passed, gay groups still need to face the pressure of family and society. To put it bluntly, even if gay people are allowed to get married now, how many gay people dare to come out and get married in broad daylight?
As for the control of sexually transmitted diseases, in fact, the gay marriage law has little effect. The most important reason is that the gay community is still uncivilized, and many homosexuals are looking for one-night stands, money boys and other sexual venting, which cannot be solved by the marriage law. Moreover, it is unrealistic to say that homosexuality is a high-risk group of AIDS. In 2008 and early 2009, the Ministry of Health of China released some statistics on HIV in the previous year. The results of these two years were almost similar, that is, heterosexual infection accounted for about 48% of the newly infected cases, while homosexual infection only accounted for 12%. However, these data have not been fully reported by the media, so this disease is still considered by many people as a homosexual disease and very dangerous. China, like the United States, will have more and more survivors. So far, China has basically focused on prevention, which is of course very important, but soon China will have to face how to make those infected by taking drugs for a long time maintain a normal life. Their psychology, social support, employment problems, anti-discrimination problems and so on will soon surface.
To sum up, the legalization of gay marriage should be in favor, and one's basic rights must be recognized, but it is far from being implemented. Finally, I would like to advise gay friends that many problems are our own. If we don't strive for self-improvement and live up to expectations, who will respect you? If we want human rights and equality, we should not just sit there shouting slogans all day, but take actions to "health" ourselves and win the respect of others.
The disaster was unexpected.
