Acacia is directed by S. Ireine and Wang Youshuo, and starring Merxat, Liu, Zhang Haolun, Lou, Zhu, Tao Siyuan, Gao Yiwei, Zheng Nangong, Chen Shuo, Jinrong Li and Shanhe. The play premiered on Mango TV on June, 2023 10.
The play tells the story of He Jiuling, the daughter of a general who protects the country. She tries her best to dress up as a wan ku bully and try to break off her engagement with Rong Yu, the young master of the Star Pavilion. Unexpectedly, her dream lover in the city returns to her childhood. In the process of getting along, feelings quietly arise, and a plot that comes straight to the point, the royal family and the Astrology Hall slowly unfolds.
Film evaluation
The core and expression of Acacia are very moving, and the protagonist's performance to the characters from handsome guys to dementia is convincing, fascinating and sad. The heroine's acting is natural. Although her modeling is average and there is little industrial saccharin, her stories and feelings finally touched many audiences.
In this play, S.Ireine and Wang Youshuo starred, and actors such as Liu, Liu and Zhang Haolun also gave excellent performances. Youshuo Wang, in particular, performed very well in the play, showing the inner world of the characters incisively and vividly. S.Ireine's acting skills are also very natural and convincing.
In plot design, Acacia Ember is also unique. It does not play cards according to the routine, and does not shout slogans.
