Snow leopard originally belonged to the genus Snow Leopard alone, and now it has returned to the genus Snow Leopard. Snow leopards are distributed in the Central Asian Plateau, and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Pamirs Plateau in China are the main distribution areas. The whole body is grayish white with black stripes; The tail is thick and annular. Body length 1 10~ 130 cm, tail length 80~90 cm and weight about 38~75 kg.

Living on the edge of alpine bare rocks, alpine meadows, alpine shrubs and mountain coniferous forests at an altitude of 2000~6000 meters, it is the carnivore with the highest distribution altitude. There are fixed caves, active at night, active in the morning and evening, and living alone.

Ambush and hunt goats, rock sheep, impala and other alpine animals, occasionally attack yaks and bite off the calves of the team. 1~ March is estrus, and the baby will be born in May ~ June. Each fetus has 1~3 offspring, which are sexually mature in 2~3 years, and the life span is generally around 10 years. Artificial reproduction is extremely difficult. They were killed for their precious fur.
