Martial arts is to pass the martial arts examination. The Ming Dynasty rarely talked about martial arts, and Shi Sanyan was one of the best.
Shi Sanyan is a legend of martial arts in Xixiang, Pingding Prefecture, and the sixth generation descendant of the emerging stone family. Shi's family is a scholarly family. The ancestor Shi Jian was the "Confucianism" in Ya 'an, Raoyang County, Hebei Province in the Ming Dynasty, and the second ancestor Shi Yan was the fourth son and scholar of Shi Jian, who was the "Confucianism" in Lintao Prefecture, Gansu Province. Cultural and educational inheritance has always been a family tradition of the Stone Family. When it reached the sixth generation, a Wulin wizard was born, and his reputation was prominent. Since then, it has become a civil and military home. The legendary story of five examples and thirteen words happened in the emerging ancient town during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.
Xinxing village is located at the west foot of the middle section of the majestic Taihang Mountain, at the foot of the mountain on the north bank of Taohe River. Here the leeward is sunny, backed by loess and surrounded by mountains and rivers. It is a good place with green mountains and green waters. Opposite the village is a hump-shaped mountain called Tuoliang. On the hillside under the beam, shrubs and trees are lush, green grass is lush, and cattle and sheep are in groups. Behind the village is a mountain named Bai Anliang, because there are many white stones piled up in the mountain, which means to keep one side safe. Halfway up the mountain, there is a well-known Shengquan Temple, which is named after the inexhaustible springs on the east and west sides. Since the completion of the temple, the villagers have always paid attention to maintenance and repair, and the host has been diligent, so the temple has always maintained a prosperous trend, with constant incense, the Great Hall in the temple filled with smoke, and the extremely effective Bodhisattva's eyes were slightly closed, kindly staring at the village below, wishing one party peace. The Taohe River in front of the village is crystal clear and slowly flows eastward against the backdrop of weeping willows and peach trees all over the beach. In front of and behind the village, there are terraced fields, fruit trees in the East River Bay are full of gardens, the upstream floodplain is contiguous with land and water, and fruits and vegetables are everywhere on the floodplain. The streets in the village are east-west, and the ancient post road passes through the village, which is the thoroughfare of Qin, Jin and Hebei provinces. Qin Shihuang died on his fifth east tour, and it was through this post road that the army convoy smelling abalone returned to Xianyang, Qin Dou. The village is shaded by trees. The villagers have donkeys grinding flour, milling rice, mashing millet with mortar, chopping wood, carrying soil and water, and doing housework, and are busy with their own affairs. The hills and streams in Donggou, Xigou, Zaoyuangou, Taoyuan and Xigou Bay in the village are gurgling. The school in the village sometimes has the sound of reading, accompanied by chickens barking and dogs barking, and the melodious bell of Wenchang Temple rings from time to time, which is a beautiful scenery of Taoyuan and a quiet village.
On this day, under the doddering Tang Huai-shu in front of Guandi Temple in the east of the village, a group of young people were sitting, talking about practicing martial arts with their master, enjoying the passing of hump teams ringing bells in droves on the post road, and expecting their master to return gloriously. They were greeted by Shi Sanyang, who had just won martial arts in Ren Wu, a famous soldier in Sanjin.
Historically, the military imperial examination began during the reign of Wu Zetian, and in 702 AD, the Ministry of War presided over the examination. Wushu examination subjects include horse shooting, step shooting, flat shooting, carbine, weight wrestling and so on. In the Song Dynasty, it was stipulated that martial arts should not only use soldiers, but also ask military strategies, such as Sun Wu's The Art of War (Sun Tzu, Wu Qi). In the Ming dynasty, it was changed to "strategy first, martial arts second", and military strategy was placed above military technology. If you fail the written answer, you can't take the Wushu test. I took three questions, two questions, and the other question was about four books. Later, the titles of the four books were all changed to Jason Wu's Dictation. However, most military positions in the Ming Dynasty were inherited by Yinshi and gradually promoted by rank. "So, study hard, get up at five o'clock, sleep in the middle of the night, practice Sanjiu in winter, practice dog days in summer, shoot an eagle with a bow and arrow at once, dismount and wear willow. Finally, I laid a solid foundation in martial arts, won the championship in countless martial arts competitions and rigorous examinations, and reached a new glorious period in my life. After winning the martial arts at that time, the court wanted to appoint an official position to use it.
