Zhangzhou No.2 Middle School was founded in 1943, formerly known as County Longxi Junior High School, 1947 was renamed as County No.1 Junior High School, 1950 started high school, and 1952 was renamed as its current name. At the beginning of 1943, the school borrowed the school building of Longxi Normal Simple School, which moved back to the mainland during the Anti-Japanese War, and moved back to the school building of Longxi Senior Industrial Vocational School, the Confucian Temple in the original county, from 1946.

1950, the Zhangzhou municipal government allocated the land and buildings of the former office of the old regime Committee to the school, with a total land area of 120 mu, starting from Bailixian Pavilion in the north and the former Zhangzhou wooden box factory in the east. 198 1 year, Commissioner Longxi decided to allocate 30 mu of land and buildings north of Pan yuechi county to Zhangzhou Normal University (now Zhangzhou Normal University).
