The account book can be changed in the following circumstances: 1. If the contents of household registration need to be changed or corrected, the household head or himself shall report to the household registration authority for verification; 2. The account of the party concerned moves in or out; 3. Other circumstances.

Legal objectivity:

Article 2 of the Regulations on Household Registration stipulates that both China people and China citizens should register their household registration in accordance with the regulations. The accounts of military personnel shall be handled by military organs in accordance with the relevant provisions on the administration of military personnel. These Regulations shall apply to the household registration of foreigners and stateless persons living in People's Republic of China (PRC), except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
