The interface behind the main chassis is described in detail as follows:
(1)PS/2 interface: PS/2 interface is widely used for mouse and keyboard. The mouse interface is light green and the keyboard interface is purple. Because of the different transmission signals, they cannot be mixed and hot-swapped.
(2)LPT parallel port parallel port/interface: The parallel port adopts a 25-pin double-row socket, which can be used to connect scanners, ZIP drives and even external network cards, tape drives and some extended hard disks.
(3) Serial interface serial port: At present, serial interfaces are directly integrated on the motherboard through a 9-pin connection. Generally speaking, a computer motherboard provides two serial interfaces. Used to connect gamepads, handwriting boards, etc.
(4) Audio interface: the blue interface is audio input and the green interface is audio output. Usually connect speakers or headphones. The red interface is a microphone, which is generally connected to a microphone, an earphone and a microphone.
(5) Network card interface: Ethernet can be divided into ISA, VESA, EISA, PCI, USB, PCMCIA and other interface types according to bus interfaces. At present, the mainstream network cards are PCI interface network cards or motherboard integrated network cards. Its main function is to connect computers or the Internet.
(6)USB interface (universal serial bus interface): it is a serial bus standard for connecting external devices. Widely used in computers, but it can also be used in set-top boxes and game machines. The supplementary standard On-The-Go( OTG) enables it to exchange data directly between portable devices. Support hot plug, easy to use. Wide bandwidth, high speed, and many devices that can be connected, such as USB mouse, USB keyboard, external card reader, camera, digital camera, digital camera, printer, game pad and so on.
(7) Graphics card: The full name of graphics card is graphics card, also called video adapter, and the display configuration card is called graphics card for short.
