Huaneng Luohuang Power Plant is a national key energy construction project during the Seventh Five-Year Plan period, which belongs to thermal power generation. The first and second phases of the power plant were officially started in September 1988 and February 1996 respectively, and were completed and put into operation in June 1992 and June 1998 respectively. At present, the total installed capacity of power plants is 6.5438+0.44 million kilowatts, accounting for more than half of the installed capacity of Chongqing power grid. It is a thermal power plant with large single unit capacity, high degree of modernization and advanced technology and equipment in southwest China. The power plant has long been committed to environmental protection and air pollution prevention, and has become a well-known green thermal power plant in China.
