Xiamen BRICS Conference was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province from September 3 to 5, 20 17.

The theme of this meeting is "Deepening the BRICS partnership and opening up a better future". Focusing on the theme, the meeting exchanged in-depth views on the current international situation, global economic governance, BRICS cooperation and international and regional hotspot issues, reviewed the cooperation history of BRICS 10, and reiterated the BRICS spirit of openness, tolerance, cooperation and win-win.

Main venue design:

As the main conference venue in Xiamen, the rebuilt Xiamen International Conference Center has a strong Chinese style, as well as "Hayes" elements and Minnan customs that permeate every detail, showing the style of a big country. The design of the welcome corridor is based on the concept of "Danguan Feiyu" and inspired by the phoenix tree in Xiamen.

Further inside, the six hyperboloid stone pillars in the entrance lobby and the curved bamboo and aluminum plates in the ceiling extend each other, creating a scene of sea and sky integration. The seamless connection between "Guan Dan Feiyu" and "Hester Tian Fei" shows the openness and tolerance of China under the Belt and Road Initiative.
