Introduction of Red Ant Choir
The Red Ant only contains seven works, but it is like an unfathomable well, showing a rare majestic bearing. In those sonorous guitar rhythms, Luo Hongwu, like a melancholy poet, walked across the ferry in the wind and let her long hair fly freely. I can't help but imagine a student rock band with poetic lyrics in angry notes. What a good combination. When you listen to the wine brewed by love, the teenager's frivolous and melancholy will easily occupy you: "Someone told me that love is like a glass of wine, and he said, drink it, don't frown ..." Then the lively and interesting "devil-like girl" was so close to the scene, as if red ants were singing on the stage, and air billow, who was reveling behind her, rushed forward along her hair, and then heard the opening song of Fast. And that earth-shattering spirit is not comparable to that of the "Tang Dynasty". But behind those endless electric guitars is an altar of youth, so quiet, so sad, so absolute, so young. Listen and run: "lost in the foggy season, the mountain carefully collects the clouds that are easy to disperse." When the cloud said I was a fog, the mountain cried ... "Isn't this a poem? Red ants put music, poetry and body together on the altar of youth, becoming the signpost of every child passing by the intersection of youth year after year and being worshipped. But it doesn't matter whether we worship, cheer, tell stories, or be deeply missed by music critics ... Maybe outside these slogans, we only see the backs of a group of teenagers, stumbling away.

When recording Red Ant I, although the members have rich experience in actual live performances, they are still unfamiliar with the skills and processes of the recording studio. At this time, producer Chen Shixing acted as an important intermediary for the birth of this album. The songs of the whole album can be divided into two parts. The first four lyrics are all written by "Red Ant", while the last three are only written by the group, and the tunes are all adapted or created by Chen Shixing. Therefore, the two parts of the song are slightly different in taste, and the level and arrangement of the words behind them are obviously much more mature, which shows that Chen Shixing is not shallow; In particular, the 8-minute "Finale" is excellent in meaning and form, which can be regarded as an impressive combination with "Running". However, as a campus student, "Red Ant" has its own unstoppable vitality and explosive power in his works, and unfamiliar skills can't hide its dazzling light. A song "Love Brewing Wine" was sung by Luo Hongwu as a classic. In addition, the fourth Final Agreement is the bridge for the successful arrangement of the tracks, and the two parts of music are integrated, and the lazy blues music style is enjoyable all the way.

Red Ant I was reprinted by Rolling Stone on June 1989. In contrast,1June, 1993, The Red Ant II, which was reprinted by Friendly Dog, was less well-known. In fact, the second album produced by these five people is undoubtedly more complete and representative. Only the content, form and structure explored by the members can be called "band" creation, and this collective creation has a completely different vitality from the solo album. However, this vibrant voice has been hard to see in the pop music scene in Taiwan Province Province.

In fact, in addition to the "Red Ant", some orchestras have tried to stir up something in the music world over the years (Note 3). In addition, more and more western choirs come to Taiwan to sing, and invite Taiwan Province island orchestras as preheating venues, so that some orchestras originally stationed in PUB have gradually become famous, such as "soliciting guests" and "NiceVice". It is not easy for the orchestra to develop smoothly in Taiwan Province Province, where there is a lack of singing venues and rigid propaganda methods, but I hope that through these constant explorations and external stimulation, it will eventually collide with a way out. "Friendly Dog" composed by Shen Guangyuan and Luo Hongwu made an album for "Bitterness" on 1993. I think it is based on this feeling!

Note 1: Henceforth is often called Red Ant I.

Note 2: "Lazy cat" is now called "Red Ant II".

Note 3: For example, Boys Choir released an album on 1986, but due to the sensitive content at that time, only nine of the ten songs passed the examination and were reissued on 1989 together with Red Ant I, and its director Jia was the producer of Tang Dynasty Band. The promise of an idiot by the famous underground band Doublex "1988 is also a rare masterpiece. The lead singer sissy Zhao Yihao released a solo album "Take Me Out" after leaving the group, which caused quite a controversy.
