On the west side of the island, a fan-shaped eight-story stand has quietly stood. According to the plan, the whole Haixinsha will be turned into an Asian Games Park, one of the most distinctive Asian Games heritages in Guangzhou and an important part of modern cultural facilities in Guangzhou.

"Taking the Pearl River as the stage and the city as the background" is the biggest highlight of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Guangzhou Asian Games. Haixinsha is located at the intersection of the Pearl River and the new central axis of Guangzhou, with unique waterscape resources.
