Historical Relics of Three Northeast Provinces records: "Boer Gallery (transliteration, namely Banlashan Gate) is the border of Ji Feng, and it was closely guarded in the Qing Dynasty. " It can be seen that the flag soldiers at that time were very strict in checking pedestrians. In addition, there is an official tax agency near Banlashan Gate.
By the time the Northeast fell, there were still some old buildings at Banla Mountain Gate, which kept their original appearance. The gate has decayed and withered, the roof tiles are overgrown with weeds, and there is a plaque on the door that says "Boolean Gallery Gate".
Entering the mountain gate, you will see an empty and flat training ground, with Guandi Temple and Niangniang Temple on the left. When Guandi Temple was built, there is no textual research. Despite the erosion of wind and rain, the five-inch-high figure carved on the top of the temple is still vivid. There is a stone tablet on each side of the temple gate, which is engraved with the inscription "All good will return to its original place" and "All kinds of instruments will live forever". There is a plaque above the purlin, which reads "Mid-Autumn Festival in the 14th year of Guangxu". There is an ancient clock in the yard with more than 20 words engraved on it: "The clock cast in Guandi Temple at Banla Mountain Gate weighs 90 Jin and was made in November of the 28th year of Qianlong". In the middle of the nave is a stone statue of Guandi, with 14 stone statues of different sizes standing on both sides.
Behind Guandi Temple is Niangniang Temple, which contains porcelain statues of a kind old man and woman. April 18th of the lunar calendar is the busiest time here every year, and people from dozens of miles around come here to catch the temple fair.
There is a small river near the mountain gate, a Shenxian Cave by the river, a Shenshu Mountain nearby and a majestic Changjia Mountain in the distance. The scenery here is beautiful, and it was a famous scenic spot when I was in Manchukuo. Now the ancient mountain gate has changed beyond recognition. Those old buildings no longer exist. On the contrary, new buildings have mushroomed. Different styles and modern tourist facilities abound, including hotels for tourists to rest, swimming pools for tourists, and unique scenery of Banla Mountain Gate, all of which make tourists linger.
