As a smart city (SC), it provides self-driving city travel data and real-time dynamic traffic scenes for smart travel. First of all, it is necessary to realize the digital real-time control of dynamic traffic scenes; As SV, it is necessary to provide information fusion between the car and the outside world for the smart travel of the city in the future, and make up for the shortcomings of bicycle intelligence.
Li Jun said that he has led the team to successfully practice the above-mentioned top-level design and concept in Xiong 'an.
Xiong' an tries to be a demand-responsive city bus, with a vehicle ratio of 10%- 15%. This kind of micro-bus smart car with uncertain traffic lines is a pioneering work in China.
In addition, on the SV (smart car) level, Xiong 'an also proposed "less car use and easy car use", which realized that only 10% of private cars were allocated to 3S on average.
At the level of SC (Smart City), they try to link community design with road design of smart cars, and arrange public service infrastructure according to life.
As for ST (Intelligent Transportation), Xiong 'an has established an operation, scheduling and management system based on passenger flow analysis.

Good morning, leaders, experts, ladies and gentlemen! First of all, in the name of the chairman of China Automotive Engineering Association, I would like to congratulate the convening of the 3rd International Automobile Intelligent Travel Conference. The topic of my speech today is "Top-level Design of Innovative Development of Intelligent Travel in China".
In 20 19, I made a report entitled "Enjoy Automotive Systems Engineering for Smart Cities in 2035 * * *" at Huadu Conference. Two years later, we have seen the development of intelligent travel, but it still has great development, but it still lacks top-level design and needs systematic engineering organization. Today, I want to give you this report on such a topic.
The first is the challenge and innovation of smart * * * to enjoy travel. First, the challenge of smart * * * enjoying travel comes from the current situation of urban traffic in China. What is this challenge? I think there are five: the first is to go further; The second travel time is shorter; The third mode of travel should be diversified; The fourth is to control travel time; The fifth is to travel easily and happily.
But what is the reality? The reality is that a lot of time is wasted in congestion or finding a parking space, so it is difficult to travel, the travel time is not guaranteed, and the travel is congested and feels bad. So as a top-level design, I suggest quantitative research.
This is a city travel index. In this index, we are most concerned about "congestion time" and "urban radius". Therefore, according to the concept of urban travel index. At present, the quality of urban traffic can't meet the speed of urban expansion and the residents' vision of enjoying travel. As can be seen from the picture on the right, measured by this index, Singapore's index is basically 1.0, which, like many cities in our country, is below 0.5. So how to implement smart travel under such circumstances?
First of all, we need to analyze where our problems are. Our problem is the present situation of national urban transportation, which has a long tail effect compared with the future intelligent transportation. This tail effect is shown in the left picture. This phenomenon shows that the mileage of * * * no longer increases rapidly, or even decreases, and the intelligence of vehicles is stagnant. In terms of performance, some figures are still increasing, but they can't improve the travel efficiency of the city.
Everyone has high hopes and enthusiasm for intelligence. The actual development of automatic driving of intelligent networked vehicles is the performance of long tail effect. What are the solutions? The solution is to improve the top-level design of the system and let smart travel enter a new stage of development.
We also introduced it at the Guangzhou Huadu Conference last time, and the China Academy of Engineering made a thorough and detailed study on this issue. This research needs to study the top-level design of the coordinated development of intelligent networked vehicles and intelligent travel in China. Top-level design is the conclusion that we have completed some research at present: smart cities, intelligent transportation and intelligent cars are developing towards intelligence, that is, "3S".
In this picture, many of the most famous units in China participated in this research, which lasted from 20 18 in China to this year. Then the whole research process is, 20 18, and we launched the "Smart Travel Research in Smart Cities in 2035"; 20 19 The development strategy of deep integration of smart city, intelligent transportation and intelligent car in China was launched. In 2020, at the request of the General Secretary, China Institute of Engineering carried out the research of "breaking through the core bottleneck of smart cars and practicing intelligent traffic management".
In this whole development experience, we have deeply integrated bicycle intelligence, vehicle-road coordination, automobile, transportation, city, energy and even urban governance. We have studied the related strategies of future cities and future trips with many experts and societies, and come to the conclusion that 3S integration is the first road map in the world to systematically solve the development strategy of urban, transportation and automobile integration.
Then one of the most important achievements of this research, smart travel must go to an ecological platform, then this ecological platform is to transform the current city; Transform the city's traffic; Transform smart cars. Only by building such an integrated platform of smart city, intelligent transportation and standardized driving can China obtain the most important top-level design for developing intelligent travel. So we want such a * * * enjoyment platform, which is the integration of intelligent travel development with intelligent cars, intelligent transportation and intelligent cities. In other words, the development of smart cars, intelligent transportation and smart cities should provide the foundation of ISAD for intelligent travel (data foundation, transportation foundation and growth foundation). On the basis of the top-level design research just now, what kind of 3S foundation should smart travel build?
First of all, it is necessary to provide the top-level design of 3S integration concept for smart travel. The figure below is such a top-level design. As a smart city (SC), it provides self-driving city travel data and real-time dynamic traffic scenes for smart travel. First of all, it is necessary to implement management and control to realize the digitalization of dynamic traffic scenes; As SV, it is necessary to provide information fusion between the car and the outside world for the smart travel of the city in the future, and make up for the shortcomings of bicycle intelligence.
Therefore, the platform of SC, ST and SV fusion provides a systematic engineering solution for intelligent networked vehicles and intelligent travel in China. More specifically, the Smart City Foundation, which enjoys smart travel, is to provide smart city direction for the flexible and efficient travel needs of residents and goods. Because of the time, this framework is not specifically developed. As can be seen from this picture, the framework mainly includes public transportation, intelligent services, smart city travel norms, smart city travel networks, smart logistics services, and smart city parking services. The functions of these smart cities should be closely related to intelligent transportation.
This picture shows the mode of intelligent transportation and provides ST (the basis of intelligent transportation) for intelligent enjoyment. This foundation includes road network holographic perception service, scene, perception and service based on roadside facilities, scene-driven multi-vehicle driving collaborative management, network based on collaborative computing, traffic perception and customized travel service. This ST will be closely connected with the smart car of the future. What is this smart car like? Today's smart car is not a traditional car, but a car that can be enjoyed by many customers. This is what I call C2S here.
This car condensed ten genes of this car in the future in Tsinghua University New Concept Automobile Research Institute, and built a gene driving system and chassis platform in 10. The architecture of SV (Intelligent Traveling SV) intelligent computing driving platform is different from the common platform. The difference is that the information of smart cities and intelligent transportation should be used as the perception system of self-driving car platforms. Then this kind of automatic driving system with deep integration with the outside of the car is the real intelligent networked automatic driving system to meet the needs of intelligent travel.
Finally, the goal of this intelligent travel based on 3S integration is to support the construction of smart cities and improve the happiness index of residents, that is, we must solve the travel problems, urban space problems and traffic congestion problems. Therefore, intelligent travel based on 3S integration can promote the development of intelligent travel, and at the same time, it can really make intelligent travel enjoy the development of economy and digital economy, and cultivate new car use modes.
So are these top-level designs and ideas just mentioned feasible? I have led the team to successfully practice this 3S in Xiong 'an. Let me give you a report on my practice in Xiong 'an. Many contracts were signed at this conference, which is of great reference value for Huadu to engage in smart travel. We explore the success of 3S in Xiong 'an. This exploration is based on the national key R&D plan, namely the key R&D plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the research and application of smart travel platform technology in smart cities. This is the only research on SC, ST and SV carried out by China's Ministry of Science and Technology, which deeply tracks the construction and operation of xiong'an new area. It is practiced by China Urban Planning and Research Institute, Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Xiong 'an Group Transportation Company, FAW, etc.
Then here are their successful experiences. Practice from SC, ST and SV;
First, smart city practice. In the practice of smart city, Xiong 'an mainly studies the spatial organization mode of smart city adapted to smart cars. The successful experience of this organizational model is to abandon space, link community design with road design of smart cars, and arrange public service infrastructure according to life, which fundamentally reduces traffic demand. In addition, distributed public transport and transportation facilities have been built. I think this is the first one in China to do this, and it is compatible with the road network of "smart micro-traffic".
Secondly, another practice of road traffic is to adapt to the urban spatial organization mode of intelligent network. ? This organization mode is a digital spatial organization mode, which has established a digital planning platform and a fairly perfect urban digital platform. Then the digital planning platform is used to study cities, and the intelligent extraction and detection of multi-disciplinary and multi-level planning information are realized through digital fusion technology. Based on the macro and micro quality system, the planning and construction are realized, which provides a platform for intelligent transportation and intelligent cars. It is the digital platform of the smart city mentioned above.
Second, what kind of practice has ST carried out? The operation, scheduling and management based on customer flow analysis are established. This analysis of customer traffic proportion, service level, * * sharing and carpooling provides support for Xiong 'an construction and * * * sharing car demonstration, which fully embodies the integration of ST and SV. In the practice of ST, the * * * traffic foundation is also built based on the traffic distribution model. This is the highlight of xiong'an new area: the traffic distribution model or traffic flow is used for distribution management, and the system operation index with or without * * * motor vehicles is obtained. In-depth study on the influence of different development modes on road capacity, and finally draw a conclusion that the benefits are remarkable.
Third, what did SV do? Xiong'an new area's smart travel put forward a slogan, which is very shocking-use less cars and use them well. What is the level of this kind of car that is used less and easy to use? There are only 65,438+00% private cars, and other cars are evenly distributed to all kinds of integrated development suitable for smart cities, intelligent transportation and smart cars. In particular, it is proposed to use 65,438+00%-65,438+05% vehicles as a demand-responsive urban bus, which is a pioneering work. This fit has achieved the goal of "using fewer cars and using them better" and provided high-quality urban services. What is a public transport system that responds to demand? The demand of this uncertain traffic route responds to the micro-bus smart car, which includes all vehicle needs except private cars and buses, and basically practices the integration of car search and people looking for cars. Therefore, the new public transport mode of sharing * * * is officially practiced for the first time in China, and it is regarded as an important part of the traffic system in Xiong 'an starting area. The design, route optimization and use mode innovation of this new shared bus station all embody the idea of 3S integration.
Finally, as a conclusion, I think it is urgent to formulate a national urban smart travel strategy, which is the most important measure to realize the top-level design of urban smart travel in China. On this map, we give the framework of the national urban wisdom travel strategy. From the top-level design, laws and regulations, government supervision, testing and verification, especially the testing and verification under government supervision, it can make wisdom. At present, the German government and Mercedes-Benz have completed the world's first L3 smart car product certification under government supervision. But we are still in the demonstration period, and it is impossible for this demonstration product to enter the market. So I think Huadu, as a smart city in our country, should undertake the first test and certification under the supervision of the government, not just demonstration. At present, the demonstration can no longer meet the marketization of the national intelligent network. If the western countries vigorously promote it, it will move from commercial demonstration to government supervision certification. Then they will produce goods and put them on the market. Then our country will not put them on the market without such certification, and it will not realize the emergence of intelligent enjoyment.
So, finally, I want to say, "Making National Urban Travel Strategy" is the most systematic top-level design for China to realize smart travel. Thank you!
