Xishuangbanna primeval forest park, located in the east of Jinghong, north of Lancang River, 8 kilometers away from the seat of the state capital, is the closest primeval forest in the whole state to Jinghong City. The park was founded on the basis of 25,000 mu of tropical valley rainforest, and the forest coverage rate in the park reached over 98%. It is a natural oxygen bar, with valley rainforest, peacock flying, folk songs and dances, food splashing carnival and other projects. It is the largest comprehensive eco-tourism in Xishuangbanna.
The fashionable life concept with nature, ecology, environmental protection, leisure and health as the main elements is embodied in the national folk culture season in winter, peacock culture season in spring, rainforest culture season in summer and national costume season in autumn.
