Gulangyu Island, located in the west of Xiamen City, Fujian Province, is named after its rugged rocks, caves and valleys, waves lapping on the shore and stormy waves lapping on the shore. Sunlight Rock is the highest peak rock on the island, commonly known as Longtou Mountain. There is a sunlight temple at the foot of the mountain. The rocks are full of wind, and you can see the vast sea, surging waves, Xiamen and surrounding islands. There are stone carvings such as "the sun and the moon are hanging" and "winning glory with the sun" on the mountain.
