What do CFT and MDT mean in quality management?
CFT refers to the word cross-functional team, which should first appear in TQM in the United States, or it may be the word improvement often used by European manufacturers.

According to textual research, the word CFT was first adopted by Chrysler Automobile Company in the late1980s, aiming at promoting value chain management, reducing the number of design changes after mass production, effectively improving the quality level and strengthening the competitive advantage. Because of its outstanding achievements, when the three major American automobile factories (GM, Ford and Chrysler) imitated ISO and brought it into QS quality standard, it became a method advocated in QS quality standard. In China, we should have put it forward first. The initial prototype has not been named, but a set of quality improvement methods of Cpk≧ 1.67 (equal to 5Sigma management) are implemented in the process design. Later, it was named "PPM-oriented process management". After accumulating practical experience, it was reviewed and revised again before it was officially named CFT.

Modular stratum dynamic tester

The main application of MDT is to test formation pressure. According to the sample points designed by geologists, the formation pressure at the sample points is tested and the pressure gradient is regressed, so as to judge the possible fluid types. The fluid in the formation can also be directly extracted from the sampling point for further chemical analysis.
