1, Start-Printers and Faxes, click Add Printer in the left pane to open the Welcome to Add Printer Wizard dialog box, and click Next to open the local or network printer selection connection dialog box;

2. Select the first item "Local printer connected to this machine", tick "Automatically detect and install plug and play printer", and click "Next" to open the "New Printer Detection" dialog box;

3. Click "Next" to open the "Select Printer Port" dialog box after the detection is completed; 4. Click "Use the following ports" in the drop-down list on the right.

Select the recommended printer port "LPT 1:" and click "Next" to open the "Install Printer Software" dialog box;

5. In the Manufacturer list, click the name of the manufacturer; In the Printer list, click the printer name and click Next to open the Name Printer dialog box;

6. Enter the printer name in the "Printer Name" text box, and click "Next" to open the "Printer Enjoy" dialog box;

7. Click "Don't enjoy this printer" and click "Next" to open the "Print Test Page" dialog box;

8. Select "No" and click "Next" to automatically search the printer software that comes with the computer for installation;

9. Click Finish.

Secondly, use the driver of the printer.

If the system does not have a driver for the printer, you can use the floppy disk and CD-ROM software provided with the printer to install the driver by:

Insert the printer driver CD into the CD-ROM drive, open the CD-ROM, click Install, and follow the wizard step by step. The steps are as follows: select the installation language, local printer, installation mode, printer model, port, drive position, configuration information, installation in progress and installation finished.

Third, install the downloaded driver file.

There is no printer driver or CD in the system, so you can download it from "Driver House" for later use (some need to be decompressed). For the installation method, please refer to the first item above: In the "Install Printer Software" dialog box (refer to the first and fourth items above), select "Install from Disk" to open the "Install from Disk" dialog box, specify the file path (for example, a: \, d: \ ...) and click "OK" in the "Manufacturer file copy source" drop-down list.
