The national youth volunteer activity to pay attention to global climate change is a real activity, initiated by Xie Zhenhua, special envoy of China on climate change and deputy director of the Committee of Population, Resources and Environment of CPPCC, and co-sponsored by China Youth Daily, China Meteorological Bureau, Mission Department of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, All-China Women's Federation and other departments.

The purpose of this activity is to mobilize young people to pay attention to global climate change, raise awareness of environmental protection, actively participate in environmental protection actions, and contribute to the construction of beautiful China.
