In order to realize the communication between them, we must consider two aspects. First, both of them should have TCP/IP communication port, usually called network port, to realize the connection between them on hardware. Secondly, TCP/IP communication drivers are installed in the communication software of S7- 1500 and PLC respectively, and a unified network segment is added in the software settings. Secondly, the communication of the third-party PLC should be configured in the hardware network settings of S7- 1500.
