The Historical Legend of Wenbifeng
During the Southern Song Dynasty, Shipu Weijing, Kunshan County, went to Lin 'an (Hangzhou, the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty) to take the exam, winning three consecutive victories. In the eleventh year of Xiaozong Xichun (1 143), he won the top prize of Chen Jia. Later, he was awarded the post of secretary and provincial orthography. He is honest and strict, and often takes Fan Zhongyan's famous saying, "Worry about the world first, and enjoy the world later" as his motto. He named the main hall "Houle Hall" and called himself "Houle Jushi". At the age of sixty-eight, Wei Jing was seriously ill and died in October. He was buried in posthumous title Wenjie, Shifoshan, Gui 'an County, Huzhou.

Scholars in Kunshan admire Wei Jing very much. Next to Miaofeng Pagoda where Kuixing appeared in Yufeng Mountain, they built a memorial arch called Wenbifeng. Renamed Lu Shipu Ao Mountain as Champion Mountain; Wei Jing's school was renamed "Wenjie Academy". In memory of Wei Jing. Later, the memorial archway of Wenbifeng, which experienced vicissitudes, collapsed. Until the beginning of this century, in order to carry forward the national culture, local enthusiasts in Kunshan, inspired by the example of Wei Jing, a rural sage, recast a more vivid pen on the bank of Ziyun Rock, engraved with three Chinese characters of seal script-Wenbifeng.
