First of all, Chongqing has two of the top ten founding marshals. One is Liu Bocheng from Kaixian County, Chongqing. In the past, there was a text in the primary school textbook that introduced Liu Bocheng, saying that he was shot in the corner of his eye to have an operation. As a result, because he was too close to his brain, he refused to use anesthetic and forcefully resisted the whole process of the operation. Bashu men were all good. Although I read this article at that time, it didn't introduce where Liu Bocheng came from, so I didn't find out until now that he was from Chongqing. The second is Nie Rongzhen from Kaixian County, Chongqing, who is also one of the top ten marshals.

In addition to the founding marshals Liu Bocheng and Nie Rongzhen, there has been the only female hero recorded in official history in Chongqing-Qin Liangyu. Qin Liangyu was a native of Zhongzhou, Sichuan (now Zhongxian, Chongqing) and a female general in the late Ming Dynasty. As the only heroine recorded in the official history, Qin Liangyu was praised by many people, and the patriotic general Feng Yuxiang even said, "In memory of Mulan, learn from Qin Liangyu."

There is another one who is not very famous, but Sima Qian once mentioned it in Historical Records-the widow Ba Qing. She was a businesswoman at the end of the Warring States Period. According to Records of the Historian, most of the mercury in Qin Shihuang's underground palace was from the widow Ba Qing.

Actually, no region has its own celebrities, but we don't all know them. When you look up the information, you will suddenly realize that there are so many famous people where I live, but I have never found them before. Knowing them is also a sense of belonging to your hometown!
