Chen Yinke (July 3, 1890 - October 7, 1969), courtesy name Heshou, was a native of Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province. A modern Chinese historian, classical literature researcher, linguist, and poet. Together with Ye Qisun, Pan Guangdan, and Mei Yiqi, he is listed as one of the four great philosophers in the century-old history of Tsinghua University.
