The road must be heard, just as human nature cannot be ignored. Without a spiritual teacher, people can't see, hear, smell or speak. People don't know, the heart can't be repaired, the body can't be solid, the morality can't be established, the family can't be unified, and the country can't be ruled. Therefore, being a man is indispensable.

People have different roots, and sex is different from wisdom and stupidity. He who can smell the Tao and do it without changing his mind is called a man of deep wisdom. Xi's listening to the Tao and believing, his will is not strong, his actions are not diligent, and his understanding is not deep. If he leaves, this is the root. Channels are dishonest, seemingly untrustworthy, and those who give up on themselves are shallow roots. Corporal is a rootless man, instead of believing it, he laughs at it.

There are also levels of smells, such as the smell of sound and dust, and the smell of non-sound and non-dust. The smell of sound and dust is for the ears outside, and the knowledge dust inside can only be smelled in the sound, but not in the silence; You can only smell the sound, but you can't understand the way of silence. Therefore, it is said that "the smell of sound and dust" is not the smell of sound and dust, but it is not enough to be intimate. It smells in the emptiness of itself and listens to the silent voice. Without ears, you can listen to silent sounds such as the sound of nature; If you don't hear the dust, you can smell what your ears can't smell. I can smell what I can't smell, but people can't smell it. This is called "wonderful smell". Such wonderful smell can only be described by "smelling Tao". Only then can you taste the taste of Tao for the first time and see the truth of Tao. If you can smell like this, you can be invisible with the elephant and the avenue. At this point, the truth of the road is not bad for me, nor has it made me great.

The purpose of this chapter is to teach people that Ming Dow believes in Taoism. Although the avenue is deep and wonderful, simple and easy, the letter can be entered. Without honesty, the truth is unpleasant. This is a reason that has never been easy.
