[Teaching content]
The theme activity of "I have a dream" is based on Unit 4, Volume 2, Grade 8 of Chinese textbook, and four speeches are arranged, namely "Speech: I have a dream" in oral communication and "Sailing confidently-writing a speech" in writing.
[Teaching Hypothesis]
Carrying out the theme activity of "I have a dream", allowing students to discover, record and share their dreams through activities such as thinking, speaking, writing, reading, telling and communicating, is the basic concept of "the rich humanistic connotation of Chinese curriculum has a far-reaching impact on students' spiritual field" in Chinese curriculum standards, and gives full play to the edifying and infecting role of Chinese education.
This activity includes four sections: sharing dreams, describing dreams, telling dreams and flying dreams.
"Sharing dreams" mainly guides students to carry out relevant oral communication activities around "I have a dream" through group communication, impromptu speeches and teacher demonstration speeches.
Describing dreams mainly guides students to write a speech through discussion and communication, demonstration writing, classroom training, writing guidance and work display.
Telling dreams is mainly to guide students to read, and to tell some dream-seekers, stories and aphorisms, so that students are influenced and infected.
"Flying Dreams" mainly encourages students to fly their dreams and pursue them bravely through student speech competitions.
[Teaching objectives]
1. Share your dream, learn to take "I have a dream" as the theme, make a speech naturally and appropriately, pay attention to clear and fluent language, put all your feelings into it, and communicate with the audience appropriately.
2. Record the dream, learn to choose the content of the speech according to the theme of the speech, arrange the structure of the speech, and write the speech "I have a dream".
3. Tell your dreams and encourage students to make unremitting efforts to realize their dreams.
[Preparation before class]
Before going to bed at night, please think quietly: Did I have a dream? What is my dream? What is my most unforgettable dream?
[Teaching process]
first kind
First, the introduction of poetry
1. Play multimedia music "I Have a Dream" (lyrics written by the national wind) to create a rich lyrical atmosphere.
Lyrics of "I have a dream" (excerpt): I have a dream/a blooming flower of happiness/I believe that miracles are just around the corner/life is rich and long, and how many storms have been forgotten/dreams come true in your palm/I have a dream/the world is a harmonious village/everything grows in mutual care/angels wander around the world, and dreams are their wings/they can fly when they meet the light of love. ...
2. Teachers read "Spring, We Meet Dreams" with deep affection, which further stimulated students' emotions.
Recitation (excerpt): quietly, spring is coming. In spring, the snow and ice melt and the seeds germinate. In spring, we brew hope and weave dreams. Through the eyes of "Spring", we see the hope, planning and imagination of life. Turning to the ears of "spring", we hear the vitality, longing and dreams of youth. In spring, we meet with youth. In spring, we dream.
Second, sharing and communication.
1, arouse interest (the teacher speaks softly in a recalling tone, slowly evoking students' beautiful reverie);
Teacher's lead: Dream is the sweet smile of my mother and the warm embrace of my father when I was a child; Dream is a bright candy in childhood, an music box that sings touching songs and dances beautifully; Is the dream a red prize in the school when I was a teenager, an admiring look from the classmates around me, a compliment from the teacher, or a vast world, colorful and wonderful, endless mystery? Dear students, what is your dream? Perhaps, you have had countless dreams, perhaps you are embracing the most beautiful dream, then, can you say it? What is the most unforgettable dream?
2. Share: I have a dream
(1) Encourage students to express their real dreams boldly.
(2) In group communication, students can speak freely or in a certain order.
Third, impromptu speech
1, the teacher asked for an impromptu speech: students can make short impromptu speeches on the stage with "My Dream" as the theme. Requirements: (1) Make clear what "my dream" is; (2) Try to describe "my dream" concretely; (3) Other students should listen carefully and make appropriate comments after listening. The comments mainly focus on the following two points. First, whether the speech is centered on "My Dream" and clear-cut; Second, whether the speech is for students, whether the expression is smooth and emotional.
Students can speak freely on the stage.
Student 1: My dream is to be a traveler. On a sunny day, I packed my simple bags and embarked on a journey full of happiness. In the spring season, I went to ancient Egypt and felt the mysterious pyramids. On the bleak days of the autumn equinox, set foot on the hot land of Thailand and pay tribute to the beautiful Taj Mahal; The breeze blew, climbed Mount Fuji in Japan and enjoyed the snow-white cherry blossoms. When the sun sets all over the sky, go to the subtropical zone to enjoy the green scenery of the tropical rain forest; I also want to go to the South Pole to see the whiteness of ice and snow, to ride horses on the vast grassland, and to enjoy the passion of going upstream in the Yellow River and the Yangtze River. Well, I want to travel around the world. I want to visit all the ancient and modern places of interest.
Student evaluation: Zhou's speech was great! His dream is also my dream, but I am ashamed. I didn't think so much, so detailed and so beautiful. I can't describe my dream as poetic and so desirable as he did.
Student 2: My dream is to be a planning designer. Last year, my cousin from Shenzhen came to see me at school, and I took him to visit our school. My cousin said that our school is too small, the design is not very good, and the sports area is too small, which makes me unhappy. Later, I accompanied my cousin around Heyuan City, and he commented while watching. One moment the road is too narrow, and the other moment there is too little greening. At the same time, he said that hospitals and schools are too public. Because I like our Heyuan very much, I think our Heyuan is well built. Later, I went to Shenzhen in the summer vacation and carefully observed the city. As my cousin said, planning is very particular, design has a lot of knowledge, the whole city is beautiful, the buildings are beautiful, and there are many green spaces. So, I secretly made up my mind at that time that I would study planning and design in college and return to my hometown after graduation to make my hometown more beautiful.
Classmate's comment: Teacher Wang not only talked about his dreams, but also talked about the generation of dreams in detail. He spoke very realistically.
Student 3: I like reading and buying books, but the bookstores in our county are too few and too small. There are few books in it, and many books we want to read are not available. Students, do you feel this way? My feeling is that I am too tired to buy books. So my dream is to open a very big bookstore when I grow up, which is bigger than Heyuan Guangming Science and Technology Bookstore. There are several layers, and each layer has different functions. For example, the first floor is the reading room, which is beautifully decorated, scholarly and comfortable. There are many magazines for everyone to read for free, especially some periodicals and magazines suitable for primary and secondary school students. You can sit down now. The second floor above is open, and the second floor is a children's bookstore, which mainly sells children's books; On the third floor is a literary bookstore, which mainly sells all kinds of literary books; There is a professional bookstore on the fourth floor, selling all kinds of professional books, such as medical books and law books. My bookstore has classic works at all times and all over the world, and there are all kinds of newly published books. I want to run the bookstore well, so that everyone likes visiting bookstores, reading books and buying books.
The classmate's speech drew applause from everyone. )
Classmate's evaluation: Li Tongxue's dream is very realistic. We are too backward here. The school library can't borrow books, bookstores can't buy books, and classmates have few books. What a pity!
3. Teacher's summary: Just now, several students boldly boarded the platform and described their dreams in clear and fluent language, which attracted attention. When talking to the audience, they were generous and natural, and talked about it in Kan Kan. Teachers are sincerely happy for their beautiful dreams and natural expression.
Four. Demonstration speech (attached)
After the students' impromptu speech, the teacher gave a speech demonstration in time to further stimulate the students' passion to share and express their dreams and give them a good demonstration and guidance.
Verbs (short for verb) communicate and discuss.
1, group discussion and exchange: please talk about the art of speech in combination with the speeches made by your classmates and teachers just now. (Hint: Students can discuss the content, psychology, language, appearance, mood and behavior of the speech. )
2. Students communicate in groups first, and then speak freely.
Student 1: Speak generously, don't be shy, be natural and don't be artificial.
Teacher's guidance: (The teacher asked the students to demonstrate the standing posture of the speech on the stage, and then demonstrated it by themselves) When speaking, the standing posture should be natural, and attention should be paid not only to stand tall and straight, but also not to be too stiff, and not to be coy or make small moves; Face the audience, smile and look at the audience naturally, don't look too high, don't look at the ground, don't hide and look around.
Student 2: Be calm and confident when you speak, and don't panic.
Teacher's guidance: the mentality of speaking is very important. In a nutshell, in Kan Kan, it means being calm, confident and calm, and speaking in an orderly way. Don't be careless and forget everything. Therefore, the preparation before the speech is very important. Besides writing a speech carefully and reciting it repeatedly, you can also practice every step and gesture of the speech. You can say it in front of the mirror or practice it repeatedly in front of your classmates.
Student 3: Speak Mandarin as standard as possible, and speak loudly and clearly, otherwise others can't hear you clearly.
Teacher's guidance: In addition to the standard pronunciation, loud and clear voice, the language of speech should also pay attention to the level and speed of tone, and pay more attention to the cadence of pronunciation and the expression of feelings. (Example omitted)
Student 4: I think it is very important to communicate with the audience more during the speech. Just like those singers on TV, they are very good at communicating with the audience.
Teacher's guidance: communication with the audience includes language, eyes and gestures. During the speech, the audience's attention is aroused by calling on "classmates" and "friends" to strengthen communication with the audience; You can also communicate with the audience through eyes and gestures.
Student 5: Be emotional, passionate and sincere in your speech, and impress the audience with your true feelings like a teacher.
Teacher's teaching: a word is a person. The content of the speech should be true, what you really want to say and what you want to communicate with the audience. Never say illusory lies, rhetoric and empty words; The feelings of speech are sincere and heartfelt. We really need to communicate with the audience, and we must not be hypocritical ...
Sixth, the class summary
Students sum up their speech requirements, and the teacher shows the key words of the speech with multimedia with a camera: write carefully and be fully prepared; Self-confident, calm and eloquent; Language standard, clear and loud; Natural, decent, natural.
Second lesson
First, situational introduction
1. Play the multimedia music Dream before class (lyrics: Yang).
Lyrics (Excerpt): I want to fly, fly to the blue sky/where I hide, my infinite dream/years have slipped away quietly/what is left is that I am constantly looking for it/I want to fly, fly to the blue sky/looking for my dream/years have slipped away quietly/I am still looking for it alone. ...
2. Guidance (the teacher quietly narrates in a quiet tone, followed by sincere expectation and invitation).
Teacher's lead: Perhaps, you once dreamed of embarking on a long journey on a sunny day to explore the mystery of the pyramids and appreciate the majestic posture of Mount Everest; Perhaps, you are dreaming of boarding the sacred halls of institutions of higher learning with admiration and wandering in the ocean of knowledge ... Students, pick up the pens in your hands and describe the purest dreams in our hearts with the most abundant words!
Second, communication: how to write a speech
1, student thinking: Please tell me how to write the speech you have read. Or the writing of a speech, what problems should we pay attention to?
2. After the students communicate independently, the teacher named the students to talk about the opinions of the group discussion.
1 group: We think writing a speech is like writing an argumentative paper. First of all, we should put forward our own views, which should be clear-cut, rich in discussion materials, organized in discussion, telling facts and reasoning, and convincing the audience.
Teacher's guidance: the speech should be focused and vivid. Rational speech should have a clear point of view, and lyrical speech should have concentrated emotional clues. For this speech, I must first make clear what my dream is.
The second group: We believe that speeches can convince people with reason and affect people with emotion. Emotion is especially important. Only rich feelings and true feelings can impress the audience. For example, Martin Luther King's speech "I Have a Dream" is full of passion.
Group 3: Our group focuses on the language of speech. We think the language of the speech should be easy to understand, not too abstruse.
Students add: the language of the speech can also be vivid and beautiful. You can use some rhetorical devices, such as parallelism and metaphor, for example, I have a dream.
Teacher's guidance: the language of the speech should be consistent with the theme, object and speaker's style, which can be unpretentious, elegant, short and powerful, and specific. In short, language should be used to express the theme and achieve effective communication between the speaker and the audience.
The fourth group: pay attention to the choice of speech materials. The content should interest the audience, so as to attract the audience.
Teacher's instruction: You should pay attention to the choice of speech materials. If you write this time, choose your most unforgettable dream. Because you have deep feelings and deep thoughts when you write, you can have something to say, feelings and feelings to express. Only in this way can you be infected unconsciously.
Group 5: The content of the speech should be clear and organized.
Teacher's guidance: the speech should be structured reasonably. The beginning, text and ending should be harmonious, the title should be decent and kind, the text should be full and clear, and the ending should be short, powerful and enthusiastic.
3. Teacher's summary, multimedia display keywords: in-depth selection of materials, clear theme, reasonable structure, true feelings and language image.
Example: The teacher wrote "I have a dream" in the water.
1, multimedia demonstration of the teacher's speech "I have a dream" (attached), students read aloud;
2. The teacher talks about writing ideas.
3. Write a speech outline.
Teachers put forward the general requirements for writing an outline and guide students to write an outline. (Tips: The main contents of this speech should generally include: What is my dream; Why I had this dream; How do I pursue my dreams? Looking ahead, what am I going to do? )
Fourth, segmented training: the beginning of the speech
1, sample essay, discussion and exchange: the teacher shows the beginning of several speeches (sample essays), the students hold the sample essays to discuss the writing methods at the beginning of the speeches, and the teacher gives guidance and summary.
[Multimedia Presentation] The beginning of the speech: As the last beginning, it should be concise and lively, so that it can not only control the full text, but also arouse the audience's thoughts and arouse the audience's desire and interest in listening. The opening ways of the speech are: (1) come straight to the point; (2) setting suspense; (3) Quote into the topic, including quoting poems, famous sayings, proverbs, lyrics, riddles, etc. (4) Rendering and contrast.
2, in-class training: write the beginning of the speech, the teacher patrol guidance.
3. Speech and communication: First, students communicate with each other at the beginning of the speech; Then show the well-written article in class, in the form of group recommendation+personal recommendation+classmate comments.
Group 1: it is recommended to start with Zhang Wenzhang.
Students, you must be familiar with this story: 100 years ago, a poor shepherd came to a hillside with his children, and a group of geese flew overhead. The shepherd's youngest son asked his father, "Where is the wild goose going?" The shepherd said, "They will go to a warm place and settle down there to spend the cold winter." The eldest son blinked and said enviously, "If only we could fly like that!" " The shepherd was silent for a while and said to his two sons, "You can fly if you want." The two sons tried, but they didn't fly. They looked at their father suspiciously. The shepherd said firmly, "Only with the wings of dreams can you fly where you want to go." The two sons firmly remembered their father's words and kept working hard. Later, they did fly.
Classmate's comment: It's attractive to start with a story, but the story is a bit long.
The second group: recommend the beginning of Ye's article.
When I was a child, I didn't know the hardships of my parents, the excitement outside, and what my dreams were. I only know that I play in the mountains with my friends all day, and it is dark from morning till night. Until that day, I suddenly grew up-because on that day, a dream about walking out of the mountains quietly took root in my heart.
Group comment: Ye confessed at the beginning of his article that my dream is to walk out of the mountains. This dream is more particular: childhood ignorance is a foreshadowing, a foil, and a suspense setting: What happened that day, which made me suddenly grow up and sprouted my dream of walking out of the mountains? In this way, it aroused the curiosity of readers and listeners.
Teacher's comment: Three unknowns pave the way for the knowledge and dreams of that day.
Group 3: We recommend the beginning of Li Tongxue's article.
In the vast sea, sailing boats have dreams, directions and the courage to break the waves; In the long journey of life, life has dreams, pursuits, and confidence in not being afraid of difficulties and unremitting struggle; On the journey of studying, I have a dream, a belief and the strength to overcome difficulties and setbacks.
Group comment: Li Tongxue started with great momentum. He expounded the significance of sailing, life and my dream with parallelism: with dreams, there is direction, pursuit and belief, and there is courage, confidence and strength to pursue dreams.
The fourth group: recommend the beginning of Zeng's article.
I have a dream, an ordinary dream; I have a dream, which is the dream of countless students; I have a dream, which is the dream of countless poets. I have a dream, dear friend. Do you want to know what my dream is? Oh, come on, let me tell you gently. Please don't be surprised or laughed at. Please give me support and encouragement, ok? Students, let me tell you loudly that my dream is to teach in the most remote mountain village!
Group comment: Zeng's character was unique from the beginning. Her personality is shown in the following aspects: first, he described my dream in three juxtaposed sentences: ordinary, yearned for by countless students, and praised by countless poets; Secondly, the use of rhetorical questions arouses readers' curiosity.
Teacher's guidance: After sorting out the questions, I used oral English to strengthen communication with my classmates and narrow the distance with the audience.
Group 5: We recommend the beginning of each student's article.
Dream has a pair of wings, let me fly under the sky of literature; I long for a heart that can listen to my dreams in the breeze and drizzle.
Group comment: This opening is very poetic and attractive.
Teacher's comment: Two short sentences, though not strictly antithetical, are neat. More importantly, lyrical and elegant words not only write the dreams of young authors, but also arouse readers' reverie infinitely.
