4. There is nothing strange about the truth. It is inherent in the human heart. Is it difficult to know why it is the basis of the world?
5. Don’t be in a hurry when reading. The time spent reading is long and interesting.
6. Tens of thousands of generations ago, there was a saint who came out of nowhere, with the same mind and the same principles; tens of millions of generations later, there was a saint who came out, with the same mind and the same principles.
7. If you call it a baht, it will be wrong if it reaches a stone; if you measure it inch by inch, it will be different if it reaches a foot.
8. You must respect yourself in life. Don't give up on yourself. To be self-reliant and self-respecting, don’t follow others’ footsteps or imitate others’ words.
9. Don’t be in a hurry when reading. Reading time is long and interesting. You can let it go before dawn. You need to think about it urgently.

Lu Jiuyuan, courtesy name Zijing, was a philosopher and educator in the Southern Song Dynasty. He calls himself "Xiangshan Weng", and scholars call him "Mr. Xiangshan".
