In the second year of Yongping (A.D. 509), the stone carving of Shimen Ming Cliff was carved in Shimen Cliff, Shaanxi. Wang Yuan's calligraphy is elegant and colorful, which is a typical style of calligraphy in Northern Wei Dynasty. Qing Kang Youwei gave this tablet to Bi Yuandao with a pen. Gukou of Baoxie Road in Hanzhong is the most dangerous pass of Baoxie Road, with steep cliffs and fast-flowing water, so it is difficult to set up plank roads.
