Reflections after reading "Xunwu Investigation"

"Xunwu Investigation" is a very thorough investigation report. The full text is divided into 5 parts, 39 sections, and more than 70,000 words. The content of this report is very detailed. Through a large number of in-depth investigations, the political divisions, geographical transportation, commercial activities, land relations, land struggles, etc. of Xunwu Town were collected and sorted out into comprehensive records through classification. Mao Zedong once said: "To understand China and transform China, we must conduct a serious investigation of China's rural areas." Therefore, this investigation report came into being. Her role is undoubted. Immediately afterwards, Mao Zedong put forward a philosophical point of view that is regarded as a clear statement: no investigation, no right to speak.

By studying this article, I have a deep understanding. From it, I connected it to work and realized that: all work must be based on reality. Before establishing work goals, it must go through in-depth and meticulous investigation work. Understand the actual situation and use it as a basis to develop a realistic goal plan. Through surveys, we can raise awareness and improve the accuracy of our goals.

As an old comrade who has worked in the urban area for many years, I first arrived in Pukou. In a new environment and a new area, although I was engaged in business management, there were still certain differences. Therefore, when carrying out work, one cannot just rely on one's own years of work experience, let alone simply copy past experience. The first step in carrying out the work is to gain a preliminary understanding of the situation in the Pukou area through a large number of in-depth investigations, laying the foundation for making correct decisions.

Nowadays, some of our comrades are "not big in officialdom but big on airs", "listen to reports at work and randomly set the tone when making conclusions", "detour when difficulties arise, and take the wrong path when working". These people, in their daily work, cannot correctly understand the problem, let alone conduct in-depth investigations with the problem in order to find the correct method to solve the problem. Such work is ineffective.
