The most eminent monk in China is Zen Master Xuyun. Before his death, he called his disciples to him and left them the word "precept". However, since there was only one word and Zen Master Xuyun was highly respected, his disciples did not dare to blaspheme the last words left by their master, nor did they dare to speculate wildly.
According to unofficial records, Zen Master Xuyun’s birth was also unusual. Although he was not three years pregnant like Nezha when he was born, he was born in a ball of flesh. When he was born, the midwife and his mother were shocked. At that time, a Taoist priest selling medicine passed by his house and said to the person at the door, "Your house has a good omen today, please let me in." So the gatekeeper hurriedly informed the owner of the door, and his father personally invited the Taoist priest into the room. So the Taoist priest muttered something about the meat ball, and then separated Zen Master Xuyun from the meat ball.
Because in ancient times everyone believed in this superstition and thought it was a good omen. The family was naturally very happy. So his father trained him well, hoping that one day he would be able to bring glory to the country. But unexpectedly, Zen Master Xuyun suddenly left without saying goodbye and embarked on the path of becoming a monk. His father was very angry and took Zen Master Xuyun back to his home and kept him under strict guard. And he also married him a wife to monitor him. But unexpectedly, he still failed to retain Zen Master Xuyun. On a dark and windy night, he embarked on the path of seeking Buddha alone.
Not only that, he is very hard-working and has great attainments in Buddhist scriptures. He even lives in a cave and practices in seclusion. Huangtian paid off, and over time, he finally realized himself. Moreover, he has taught many disciples in this field, which is also a great meritorious event.
