"Jenny helped the little boy recover his healthy legs with the last precious petal", which I can't forget for a long time. This is the plot of a book I read not long ago, Seven Colors Flowers.
This book is about a little girl named Jenny. One day, she went to buy bagels and got lost on her way home. Suddenly, an old woman appeared. She gave Jenny a seven-color flower and told her that every time she tore off a petal, she could realize a wish. Jenny was very happy. She went home with a yellow petal.
She wanted to put this precious flower in a vase, but the vase was broken. She restored it with red petals. Jenny saw boys playing adventure in the North Pole, but they wouldn't let Jenny play, so Jenny used a blue petal to go to the North Pole that boys yearned for.
Jenny also met a polar bear there, cold and scared, so Jenny returned to the warm yard with a green petal. Jenny saw that the girls had many dolls. Jenny used an orange petal to make all the toys in the world belong to her. The toy came at Jenny from all directions, and Jenny had to put it back with another purple petal.
These six wishes are all about Jenny herself, but the last one is different. Jenny used the last green petal to help the little boy with mobility problems recover his healthy legs.
This reminds me of my experience as a volunteer during the recent epidemic. At that time, my mother and I patrolled the community at 5 pm every day to remind children who didn't wear masks to put them on in time.
I gave my beloved mask to the child who didn't wear it. When they smiled and said "thank you" to me, my heart was warm. I think, this is "give someone a rose, the hand has a lingering fragrance"!
After reading the book Seven Colors Flowers, the kindness and helpfulness of the protagonist Jenny will remain in my heart forever. If we can all be like Jenny, then our world will be better!
